Logic probe finds some answers
This came just in time to debug a circuit I've been breadboarding. Worked as expected, in that it detected the expected TTL pulses. The only fault I have with this probe is the attached clamps. They are great for automotive work, but I'm working with smaller pieces and breadboards. The solution is simple. I cut off the clamps and attached alligator clips. Probe functions very well, is easy to handle, and (so far as I can tell) accurate. A good deal for the price.

this is a great probe.I use it to test my IC chips when doing technical repairs of IC sockets.

The clips are too big and the probe too bulky
I have been using logic probes for over 45 years. This one is a turd. It is way too big, the leads are non-helical and tend to get in the way. However, the power clips make this thing almost unusable. It is cheap which is the only saving gracE.
