Rear Bumper Scuff Protector Fits 2013 2017 Honda Accord 4 Door Sedan

I thought it might be a little tougher than it us. I put a couple scratches in on the first time I took a scooter out of the trunk. I added more layers of duct tape to combat that.

Overall, no buyers remorse. I did have to add addtl super strength 3M two side tape & I used a 3M Black Super Weatherstrip Adhesive Stage 2 # 03602, prior to affixing to bumper.Affix to bumper only after a bumper wipedown with 91% isopropyl alcohol. Also make certain that you leave the scuff protector in the full Sun for at least 30 min for each side. The warmer it is, the better the tape sticks, and the better the placement because its warmth makes it easier to manipulate for you to affix.

I bought this for my 2016 Honda Accord Sedan to (hopefully) prevent the paint on the bumper from getting damaged from my kids constantly taking stuff in and out of the trunk. It matches the curve in the bumper perfectly and the material seems to be of good quality. It looks good when installed - definitely looks like it's custom designed for the car. I'm including a couple pictures so others will know what it looks like on the 2016 Accord.Just make sure that after you take the protective layer off the 3M tape, that you're very careful to lay it down exactly how you want it. You only get one chance - as soon as it touches the bumper, it's not coming off to give you a second try.

I've tried 2 different clear bumper trunk appliques/protectors/guards and they were all defective and not fit to size. This one isn't EXACTLY fit and hangs off of the edge of the bumper by a mm or 2, but it should be fine. The 3M tape should hold up fine. I just wish the guard was a bit longer overall to cover more of the bumper. The material itself seems real beefy though.

This is easy to apply and does the job. I would like it a bit longer on both sides. It is needed on the 2013 Honda Accord, as it would be almost impossible to not scuff up the bumper without it moving items in and out. The trunk is deeper and has a shelf. Why Honda doesn't exclude this even on a $32000 model like mine is a ding to a otherwise trustworthy and brilliantly designed car. The product is fairly priced and arrived fast.

Installation is a breeze, and it looks good on my 2015 Accord Touring. The product would be even better if: (1) it were 4" longer, (2) it were 1/4" narrower, and (3) the alcohol-cleaning pads were more substantial.

The instructions show the protector being placed over a slight lip closest to the trunk but I chose to place the protector totally on the flat surface of the rear bumper. It looks great. I install by beginning to pull the adhesive covering off from one side; place the protector in place and gradually pulling away the coverings as I press the protector in place. Take your time.

Really what I needed. I had accidentally created a small scuff in the trunk area. This not only covers it, but it provides a genuine utilitarian purpose, and will prevent any additional damage to the car.My car is black, and this blends in incredibly well.
