Good value for powering laser diode modules. The battery cover has an optional screw to secure the cover. My only complaint is that the switch is on the opposite side as the battery cover so whatever method you use to mount the box, it has to be removable so you can change the batteries. It would be better if the cover & switch were both on the same side then it could be permanently mounted.

I purchased (for the second time) 2 and 3 cell AA battery packs for wiring ignition systems on model internal combustion engines. These packs are held closed via self-tapping screws and also have on-off switches which adds to the versatility. I like these boxes and have had no problems with them whatsoever. I solder connectors to the leads, add batteries, connect to ignition and away we go. Will buy again. The quality is good and the shipping was very fast.

Nice quality, I expected thinner, cheaper plastic and switch action, but it it solid.Lid with screw fits snugly and matches case well.Much nicer quality than I expected.

We had some burlap with LEDs sewn into it and one of the battery packs had broken. I bought these and decided to cut and strip the wires from the burlap and re-connect them to these battery packs. Worked like a charm. If I had anything to complain about it was that the lid is SUPER hard to slide off for some reason.

I used these, wired in parallel, to provide 6V of DC power to a horn and button. Worked perfectly. No issues. There's a cover retaining screw and an on/off switch (which I did not use at all, so just left on). Probably not good outdoors or exposed to weather but inside something, or indoors would be just fine.

These work just fine for my purpose, though I would have preferred that the wire gauge was a little heavier. It makes stripping and soldering difficult and the wire is quite fragile.

Perfect!!!!! Size, quality, functionality.Using this as power source for cross hair lasers I'm adding to the moving cutting carriage of my plotter/cutting machines. 3-5 volt... This is so small, and lite, plus it's switched. Will use gorilla tape on battery slide to mount to cutter carriage. Almost no weight. Will add photo when new plotter gets here!

I wish the switch was on the same side as the battery compartment.in my use case i'd like to mount this to a wall and with the switch and bay on opposite sides it's gonna make this a bit tricky

I needed this to power a small LED illuminator. The built in switch is a nice feature and there was enough room inside the case to install a small 1/4W current limiting resistor.

They are exactly what was needed. My wife builds miniature doll houses and these battery cases work so well for the lighting.

I had to modify it to fit. The part I needed was unobtainable so this one did the trick
