This filter was a perfect replacement for my Dirt Devil vacuum. It fits well, and my vacuum is working like new again. Easy to install.

Purchased for my Dirt Devil Compact Upright Vaccuum. Changed out the old filter quite easily.Got it for cheaper through Amazon instead of buying from the Dirt Devil website.10/10. Will buy again when needed in the future!

Maybe this assumes that people always watch videos on products but for me I just glance over box words then do the thing. I was trying to figure out why this thing kept getting so dirty so quickly. Then by accident I realized that the foam cover should be removed prior to installation.I'm happy to say that now the filter and vacuum are working so wonderful now! However, I thought the image of the box was just showing like some kind of double filtering genius of the filter and that it was supposed to be washed like that.I'm definitely no filter guru and literally just thought the foam cover was part of the whole thing thinking "oh filters are getting extra fancy!". No where on the box did it say "remove foam cover". Other than just some sillyness this filter does what it needs to do and cleaning it after every 5-10 uses makes a lot more sense now without the foam cover!However, I would say this could be improved by adding some words on the box or on the cover that says "Remove Me". Thanks!
