Love these dropcloths
Love these dropcloths! To be fair, I wasn't using them to paint-- my review is about their quality for the purpose of making dropcloth curtains. The fabric arrived in a clean sheet, no seams, with a hem at the top and bottom and a clean cut without fraying on the sides. The cloth is more beige than tan or ivory-- I have included a picture of the dropcloth before washing to give some indication of the color. To make curtains, I soaked the cloths in a bathtub full of water with bleach and then washed them twice before hanging them.

Didn't quite do the job
I needed a big drop cloth for a project that involved painting the stairs inside my home. I am really careful when I paint (I am a bit OCD that way), but of course I wanted something to protect the carpet on the stairs. This drop cloth was plenty big to cover the entire stairs and was folded over to give two layers of protection and to be more manageable for me to handle, but I was disappointed that the one or two drips that made it onto the drop cloth bled through and got paint on my carpet. I plan on replacing the carpet anyway, but it seemed to defeat the purpose of laying down a drop cloth.

A quality canvas drop cloth
This is a high quality drop cloth at a reasonable price. The 4 feet x 15 feet size is perfect for doing walls and large touch ups with a roller/mini-roller. I am not a fan of the cheap plastic ones that get really dusty and slide all over the place. If you plan on doing any reasonable amount of painting, canvas drop cloths are the way to go. I have not washed it yet so I can't speak about whether or not it shrinks and how much. I hope not too much. I would confidentally recommend this drop cloth and brand for anyone who requires one.

Paint may go through
This is an ok cloth that I used to cover our laminate floors while painting the walls. My biggest complaint about it is the fact that paint can go through the cloth! Happened on a few occasions from accidental drips from a brush or roller. Kind of defeats the purpose of covering the surfaces... If you end up getting this cloth then make sure you keep a bottle of Goo Gone ready (for hard surfaces).I did like that it is easily handled and may be washed, but I suppose any canvas drop cloth has these attributes.

The width did not shrink and is pretty close to 4 feet wide
I'm using the drop cloths to make gazebo decorative curtains with the cloths. Just a note; after washing the bias or overall length shrank about 14 inches. That does not pose a problem for my purpose. The width did not shrink and is pretty close to 4 feet wide. I am pleased with my purchase.

perfect for painting walls
this dropcloth is perfect for painting walls. the 15 foot length just about extends the length of most of my walls, and the 4 foot width makes it so I can move furniture into the middle of the room and just drag the cloth as I move to the next wall.

Excellent source for inexpensive fabric.
I've been slip covering my couches, and this drop cloth is perfect. First of all, it has finished edges, so I don't have do to a lot of hemming. And, once you slit a small section of the edge, you can just rip straight lines, so working with it is a cinch. I'll be buying more of these to make some forts for my son in the future.

Cheap and good for painting
These are like half the price of the brick and mortar stores. Good material overall, but a few drops of paint did go through the cloth. We mostly used them when we were using a paint sprayer.
