This switch is very well made, very sturdy. It was easy to install. Wi-fi light did not blink on installation. Simply held the power button for a few seconds and forced it into pair mode. Amazon Alexa recognized and controlled it as soon as I set it up in the Smart Life APP. Is now flawlessly integrated into routines. Shut main power off and back on and the switch hooked back to wi-fi in under a minute. WI-FI indicator light and power light on the front make it very easy to see it's state. Very light touch to the front panel to turn device on and off. Great switch!

The product construction is the best part of this dimmer. It seems that there are several different models listed here. The product that I am reviewing is the white wifi dimmer with green numeric digital center display. The dimmer switch when used is finiky as it goes from off to full power or full power to off. You have to catch it at the level of dimness that you would like. The big issue that I had is trying to reconnect it to wifi after my router was reset for another reason. There is no pairing light indicator with this model compared to some of the other switches. I have reset the breaker hoping that would put it in pairing mode and also powered it on and off 3 times either method worked. I must be missing something very specific in order to put this switch in pairing mode which is making it very frustrating to operate.

So I am an avid smart home user. I have over 75 devices in my home.. I am always looking to bring new switches, lights etc in to test them out. This switch fit the bill initially because of its integration with Google and IFTTT. The normal switches I buy are nearly 2x this price. I was immediately pleased with the build quality. Its sturdy and built from quality plastics. The clear bezel with blue led backlighting was nice as well.As far as the functionality, it was nearly perfect. I had a little trouble pairing it with the app, which could be fixed by having 1 manual for each switch vs perhaps the generic pamphlet, but that was easily overcome. Its now working flawless in under 30 minutes, integrated with google home, and IFTTT. Very pleased. Will buy again.

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  Bought 2 smart switches. Installed in the same box and wallplate. Both to be used to toggle 26W CFL bulb. One works normal with no issues. The other one is making faint beeping sound and the light (WiFi indicator) is weaker than the other. It's weird that they are wired from the same source and toggling light with same rating but somehow behave diffrently. Both are working OK as intended but it's unsettling to see the WiFi indicator light glow differently and one is making a beeping sound. The other difficulty is the length of wire provided that is too short that I have to find myself #12 wire for neutral line.

Works great. Was easy to install. It does need a neutral wire. We wanted to get another one for a different location but it won't work there because of that. We have a different system in our home that we love, but we wanted one more automated light This works just as well. But it is only on/off, it doesn't dim or anything and can't integrate with our main system, buy since we use Alexa to operate, it is still easy to use. The face plate snapped right on and has not popped off like other reviews state. So far so good.

I bought 2 of these black wifi light switches to run my lights in mediaroom. One worked flawlessly while the other couldn’t ever connect to the network. Both are installed in the same location in a dual switch box. Both are using the same power source.The failed unit’s blue wifi light is more of a lighter blue while the good unit is more of a darker blue. It took me awhile to install these because of other home projects that were a priority so when I called Amazon, I was beyond the support window and they wouldn’t help (my fault). They provided me a phone number and an email, both which received no answer.If you buy, install immediately so that you can return it if you get one of the bad units. If you get luck and get a good one, you are good to go as it works without fail!C’mon Kenny Rogers...with free returns from Amazon, gamble a little. You’ll only be wasting your time and Amazon’s money! Good luck!

Pros - can be installed into regular (not jumbo or so) outlet, can be used with any standard face-plates, easy WI-FI setup (2.5G only), black color (hard to find), can work as actual switch - push button.Cons - major one is it only single pole (on-off for single light), depending from your gauge it could be hard to wire (was fine for my place but IMMV), no matching switches from this seller (I kinda find ones - Leviton Decora).

This review is for the dimmer model.First, this says it dims down to 1% brightness. No. It does not. It dimd to its own setting for 1%, which is still too bright.Second, I spent over an hour getting it to connect to WiFi. It keeps dropping the signal and I have to start over, which is a repeated failure to connect.Third, you must use their switch surround as their box is quite thick.Fourth, my lights flicker despite using all the different settings they suggest to stop this.I’m throwing this thing in the trash and trying something else.
