It takes the work out of recovering your gold
I loved finally pulverizing all of my ore & going through my collected concentrates FINALLY getting rid of the black sand once & for all. When you finally see your gold appear & then collect at the bottom of the cone... Priceless. All I could do was laugh to myself. My wife comes over & looks & starts laughing with me. Good times & Gold Fever. The supplied 1" of bilge hose is a little obnoxious. I am obviously going to have to go out & buy a longer hose & 1 hose rubber o-ring to make it complete, as other reviews have stated. Missing the o-ring, the connection leaked a bit as well as pretty substantially through the valve. I used mine in a bucket directly in my kitchen sink, but in an 18 gallon tote it would have to be 60% full to keep water above the pump since the hose is so short. With that said, this apparatus is to be used for ONE purpose, AND YEAH! YOURE GUNNA GET WET! So deal with it.Still, 5 stars! Its awesome & works quickly to separate your gold from your concentrates. This is what it is all about. I went through all of my concentrates from last year & pulverized a few rocks I had been toting around for more than 4 years. My wife especially appreciates those being gone.Ores Crushed:Flourine-Flourspar with heavy Iron & SulphitesQuartz MonzoniteCalaveriteFound a few specks of gold but nothing remarkable.Heavy crushed quartz 30- & pyrite cubes to a degree are maddening to get out of there though. It persists. I recommend if you're running ore concentrate & not alluvial black sand concentrate to further screen to 50- and maybe even 100-.For my black sand concentrates, adding about 8oz of concentrate at a time took less than 5 minutes elapsed before the black sand was gone. I have a bunch of incredibly fine gold & I am extremely happy about it. Even with proper dosage of JetDry the finest of gold dust still rides up against the upper flair though, eventually making it's way over & into the bucket below. I haven't figured that one out just yet.If you've been on the fence for this one just snag it up.

Works, good price.
Some people claim you can separate gold from platinum if you get the water flow right. I'm not sure about that. After laying with this, you really have to concentrate your material down, and you have to baby-sit this thing. I have found fluctuations in the flow rate of water without adjusting the valve. What I believe happens is that as material is washed out, the drag decreases, and water flow increases. If you aren't adjusting constantly it seems like it will wash out the finest gold. Otherwise, if you have only a small amount of concentrates rich in gold, this seems to work pretty well.

pricey
a little expensive for what you get. works REALLY slow and the hose is to short. I bought a 110 volt pump to use at home. I also attached a small vibrator motor to it to prevent the gold from riding up and out of the center cone. if you play with it you can get it to work fairly well.

Heavy-Duty durable construction, great value, and worth every penny!
Great customer service, packaging and instructions. Be sure to have a few concentrates that you know has gold in them to use to dial in and get familiar with your blue bowl. I was very surprised at the thickness and quality of construction. Definitely much better than anything i was able to build. The pump tends to float, so I mounted it to a piece of wood with a weight plate. Be sure to mount it at minimum 2 inches from the bottom of your tub. I mounted mine 3 inches above the bottom. Remember to ONLY wash it with SOAP when you first get it. DO NOT use anything abrasive like a scrubber, etc. Once you run material through it, re-run the tailings again. You'll find what the right level is for different screen types. I run 20, 27, 30+, 30, 50+, 50 and 100 grades of material. I marked my bowl for each level i dialed in. It's extremely important to ensure that you are level. The leg leveling kit is a must. We are recovering fine flour gold from beach sand, and we are running tailings down a finishing table just to be sure we didn't miss anything. I would definitely buy from Pioneer again.

Slow but sure. Just needs to be set up right and not over fed.
I like it’s ease of use, simplicity and it is inexpensive. The one drawback is the length of hose between the pump and the bowl.It is a 3/4” ID so it’s easy to change using the same pipe fittings that came on the 12” hose.AS SEEN ON YOUTUBE!!

FYI this is not what is listed.
Product listing says a 3 foot hose which you can see is accordion style and flexible. Instead it came with a 1 ft long EXTREMELY stiff clear and white spiral tube, causing the pump to barely sit a few inches below the bowl normally, and only about 5 inches below it if you are FORCING the tube to bend. It also causes the bowl to tip when on top of a bucket because all the weight is dragging on one side thanks to the hose being so stiff. I'm going to have to replace the hose. When reaching out to the seller they simply told me that the pump manufacturer changed the hose to keep it from sitting on the bottom and sucking up silt. That's fine, except the hose is to stiff to be useful, to short to be useful, and not what the listing describes. I hate that I'm going to have to spend more money to customize this with a hose that is actually flexible to make this product more useable.

Works awesome
I use a blue painters bucket instead of a 5 gallon bucket and it's perfect. Because it's only about 9 inches tall and skinny at the top so the leveling clips fit and the length of the hose is perfect . A 5 gallon would be too big. It does exactly what it's meant to! Very happy. Thank you !!!
