I brought these shoes for my holidays.

Good fit and quality for an inexpensive shoe mainly worn as garden shoes

Basically these are made from two pieces of lightweight injection moulded plastic - the all-in-one upper which is glued into the sole which acts as a shallow 'dish' to take the upper. As others have said, the upper can be simply ripped up off the sole, detaching the two pieces.As the all-in-one upper is injection moulded plastic, it makes your feet overly warm & likely to sweat (despite the holes in the top part of the upper). The insole within the upper, has tiny rough raised 'pimple' moulding which is clearly meant to provide some texture/grip under the sole of your foot. However, it's basically just irritating as if you have a pile of sand in your shoe.These shoes are complete and utter garbage and are the kind of thing you would pay £1 for in Poundland, not £11! If it wasn't for the hassle, I'd send them straight back. Be warned, they are plastic rubbish.UPDATE: These shoes are completely unwearable! They squeak & squawk SO much & so L.O.U.D.L.Y that nobody will tolerate it for more than a couple of minutes! Initially, you'll find it funny, like a scene from a Pink Panther movie, but very very quickly the funny side wears off & others in your household will become annoyed & angry with you attempting to sneak around the house early in the morning wearing these things! Totally unwearable! You have been warned!And I almost forgot - the sizes are not right. A purchased UK size 8 is actually more accurately described as being a UK size 7. So if you are intent on buying this junk, buy a size bigger than you need.

I gave these 4 star because they are so light and comfortable, but the upper and lower are only 'popped' together, so they come apart if you apply downward pressure on the sole as normal when you take them off. I aim to glue mine, but the manufacturer should have done this with an appropriate adhesive.

Be sure when you order a pair of these shoes to choose a size bigger. I normally wear a 41 and ordered a 42 which are still a little snug. Apart from that they seem good enough and should last the whole summer.

As far as it goes it is not even supposed to be in the shoe section. Flip Flops can even do a better job at protecting the feet from objects. It is in the wrong category all together and should be under medical equipment as shoes for Doctors in the O.R.
