Tested this in a used HP Elitebook 830 G5 business laptop and it was detected with no issues even when mixing with a similarly specified set made by Kingston. I ran a memory scan in the BIOS and saw no errors.Unfortunately, that laptop I bought to use with this stick either had issues with the SSD or NVME slot, leading to Windows acting wonky and unreliably, so I had to return it. Those issues were completely separate from the ram as I tested the system both with and without the kit installed and saw the same weird issues. However, this stick of RAM was so affordable that I do plan to keep it despite no longer owning the device I had intended to use it with. I am bound to come across a computer that can utilize it at some point, so it's nice to have on hand.

Worked like a charm.Installed without any hang-ups in my Optilex 7050. Absolutely the quickwst and smoothest upgrade I've done on any machine.

So, I mistakenly bought SODIMM when I needed DIMM. I should have done more research before I hit “buy now”. That being said, the RAM arrived really fast from Amazon and it is packaged well. I’m certain that if you are upgrading a LAPTOP then this SODIMM RAM is just what you need.
