VEY Child Bike Seat Front, Kid Carrier Bicycle Baby Seat, Including Cushion and Handrail Footpegs (Front Seat with Peg)

We are wanting to do family bike rides this summer with our 3 yo and 1 yo. Our 3 yo is a BIG kid. He is tall and weighs 42ish pounds. There is NO WAY he was going to be able to utilize any of the infant type seats with straps, so we decided to give this a try. We just got it today and put it on my husband's bike. They did a few laps around the block and my 3 yo could not be more thrilled. I wasn't sure if he would feel "secure" enough on this, as he is a very cautious and somewhat nervous kid when it comes to trying new things, but he must feel "safe" on it, because he can't wait to ride again tomorrow.NEGATIVE: the directions said that all the nuts and bolts were supposed to come with a tightening tool, but our packet did not include that tool. We were able to use some tools we had around the house, but I am quite sure it would have been much easier to attach to the bike had that little tool actually been included.

Attached easily and feels sturdy. My 2 and 3 year olds LOVE it. It's a little awkward for the adult. The child is right between your legs so as other reviewers have said, you have to pedal a little bow-legged. You also can't (or at least on my bike I couldn't) stand to gain any leverage, so hills are no fun. Not comfortable for long rides, but for family bike rides around the neighborhood, it's a handy little seat.It takes about 5 minutes to take off or put back on (once assembled and you know what you're doing), so not the most convenient if you're going back and forth between riding solo and with a mini passenger.4 stars for quality and ease of assembly3 stars for the overall design

This is a great seat for my son who would NEVER sit in the standard carrier but is too young for his own bike. He loves to feel like he's steering! I did have troubles with the parts being wonky (the handle bars and foot pegs were welded on at weird angles). But the seller was very responsive and helpful. They sent a replacement the day after I initially contacted them! The new parts were still a little weird, but nothing a little elbow grease couldn't correct. So now we can ride and enjoy the summer!

This is such a crap product, doesn't deserve a one star as well.In the front facing position, the seat and along with it the kid rubs against your legs and is a discomfort.The latches/rods are of poor quality and doesn't latch on to the bars tight and so it's wobbly.The seat, materials are low quality and it's totally not worth the $40, it's listed here.

Pain in the butt to mount....the mount was to big so my hubby cut a rubber flip flop to make a shim and now its holding up great!!! We love it and its comfy for both of us. We have a Huffy beach cruiser...if that helps😁 And our 3 year old is 5 year old sized!!!! 55 lbs

(PLEASE READ) Ok this seat is sturdy and it’s a great idea. Now the important part, I did a ride test with my son before we went out on a family ride. And it was horrible makes riding uncomfortable. My hips were not in the right spot. My legs were rubbing up and down on my son, causing his skin too get raw. This is not recommended by me. I would buy the right seat that goes behind you, it will be safer for you and your child. I’d say if there to big for that kind of seat buy a pull behind toddler trailer. I will return this seat

looks cheap, ugly, the red rubber handle covers can be removed VERY easily, i mean really easily! they just slip out... the frame looks deformed, not symmetrical...very disappointed... will see if i don't return this product
