I purchased it on a whim, and have fallen in love. While it is very easy to use, it is also just as easy to make a mistake. I wish somebody has created a "cheat sheet". I recommend watching a lot of youtube videos, and each ones gives you a different trick you hadn't heard before. Here are some of the best ones:- Each iron on material has a different timeframe for which to remove the film- Clean the mat w/ Alcohol after each use- Always check the setting on your dial- Don't be afraid to use the "weld" feature- comes in handy when design is finalized- I found great deals on Cricut vinyl/iron on at ACMoore, especially the clearance rolls

The Cricut is amazing. I bought this as a gift to my wife, and this immediately became her favorite hobby. If you or someone you know is crafty, I would recommend the Cricut. The bundle had everything you need to do vinyl work. If you don't feel comfortable using an iron for the heat transfer, I recommend getting a Cricut EasyPress in addition to this bundle.

I've waited a long time to be able to get this machine. I bit the bullet and bought it. Best thing I did. I have made many items for baby showers and gifts. I worked on one task u til I mastered it before trying another. Would recommend this to anyone.

Totally in love, and have so many projects planned. Also, excited about helping out with classroom activities as a night-shift mom. I can’t always be there, but I can find the time to cut out 50 leaves or pumpkins now.
