Best Hammock Ever
I have bought over x4 of these hammocks already (I kept x2, and gave x2 away as gifts). They come in x3 colors - Orange, Ireland Green, and Maldives Blue - although, at the time of writing this review, they where not all properly "connected" via. the Amazon marketplace - e.g. you have to look up each one separately. (at the time of writing this review, the "Maldives Blue" color was the cheapest by $10.)They are kind of heavy - but good for bringing to bomb-fires, concerts, to sleep on at friend's houses overnight (like a cot). They are MORE STABLE than most hammocks (referring to getting in and out of the hammock, as well as to sleeping overnight in one) - on each side... they connect by TWO parallel connectors/hooks - (most hammocks only have one hook per side, which allows for flipping). Also, the frame is incredibly stable. They are very easy to set-up (*especially after the first time, which can be difficult to stretch the hammock onto the springs if you choose NOT to use the included spacers). Breaking down is kind of easy too, although fitting everything back into the bag takes getting used to.I normally leave the "over-top-tarp" off - and usually do not even pack it to reduce wait and make packing it easier... however, on long days, the tarp is a "God-send."The thing has x2 cup holders, a "magazine/book" holder", and a small cooler. Although I normally do like all of these extras, and do recommend this hammock - I will warn you about the small cooler. First off, it is VERY small. I recommend you use it less as a cooler, and more as a little bag to hold cell phones and portable speakers out of the sun (which is good for batteries on phones). However, the true reason I dislike the cooler is this --> if you leave your hammock outside overnight and it rains, the cooler will fill up with rain (despite the zippers and Velcro on the top of the cooler, it is not "waterproof" to rain). If it fills up, you get weight on one side of the hammock, which can cause the hammock to "warp" towards one side if you do not empty it promptly). Also, like an old shower curtain - you can get a kind of "water grime" inside this cooler if you let it stay outside and don't clean it). Also, the carrying bag DOES have straps on it... but no padding. That is to say, this is about 15 pounds, and I would not recommend that you expect to "hike" with it more than a half mile (into a concert, for instance, would be fine - but taking this backpacking would not work). You can fit two people on this - usually with your heads facing opposite directions (legs interlaced) works best (unless she wants to angle it so that only her face is getting sun).Sleeping on this is easy, but I recommend you put blankets both under, and above your body - you can loose heat if your outside - the wind will cool the bottom of the mesh fabric.Consideration: The mesh fabric, as well as the double connectors, makes it so that, when nobody is in the hammock, a strong wind can blow the hammock on it's side. This is really only a problem if you plan on keeping your hammock outside (I used to keep x2 on my deck... now I break them down between uses.)Another Pro: I love the pillow - it connects via a strap and can be adjusted for length. Its water resistant - e.g. it can get rained on, and dries out easily, but is more comfortable than most "outdoor" furniture feels.Final recommendation - always set-up this hammock/place near a table, or something grounded (even a second hammock) so that you can use your toes and foot to easily rock yourself (and any guest on the hammock with you).

Sturdy, great for car camping
I wanted a hammock with its own stand so that I didn't have to rely on trees being present wherever I intended on camping, which is why I chose this hammock (along with the cup holders, little cooler, pillow, etc.). When it arrived, I had my husband set it up in the living room due to reviews about it being hard to stretch the first time and he has way more upper body strength than I do; also, I wanted to see how to set it up since I don't have the patience for reading directions. He did have to put some effort into the stretch, but overall it was easy to set up. It disassembled very quickly and fit easily into the carrying bag. I took it on my camping trip and easily set it up by myself within minutes. As mentioned in other reviews, you don't get that swinging motion you get in the larger hammocks, but I just wanted a comfy place to read a book, not swing (although it does rock a little). I found the hammock very comfortable, the cup holders in just the right place, the pillow was decent, and I immediately fell asleep. Unfortunately, it was very windy where I was camping so the wind blew it away during the night, but it was unscathed when I found it. It was very easy for me to disassemble and put in the carrying bag by myself. The bag with the hammock is a little heavy and bulky, but I think it was well worth the space it took up in my truck. The hammock is very well constructed, solid and I will bring it with me on all future car camping trips.

Mostly easy to set up
As far as portable hammocks go, this one is pretty cool. It is rather large, so if your outdoor space isn't that big, you'll probably either take up most of it with this thing or else have to collapse it regularly. On the plus side, it really is easily collapsable and, although the first time you set up the base can be tricky/require some muscle power, every time afer that is easy. Unlike with more typical hammocks, the material on this one is more sturdy/stiff than the more traditional "slingy/stretchy" effect most hammocks seem to have. That's kind of good and bad, but mostly this is more like a slightly flexy cot than a more traditional hammock effect. One bad thing about the hammock material itself is that because it is quite thick and inflexible, you probably won't be able to hook it to both ends of the hammock base right away and will need to supplement with some S hooks. The product came with two S hooks (enough for one end of the hammock), but I've found that to start, I needed at least 4 liked together on each end of the hammock. After about 1-2 uses like that, the material did finally stretch enough for me to cut that down to just 2 S hooks (1 per ring) on each side.Regardless, it works for what I want it for, has cool cup holders and another enclosed side compartment (which is insulated), so I mostly feel pretty good about it.The major con (for which I removed a star) is that I found both the directions for and the execution of setting up the optional canopy portion to be a hot mess. Even with two people trying to work on it, we weren't able to get it to come out what we were expecting to be "right". It seemed very unstable and a pain in the behind to hook into the spokes on either end of the hammock. Maybe we just weren't doing it right, so good luck to you all and hopefully you'll get that part working!

Great hammock for a great price!
This is a very nice portable hammock. The hammock is very easy for one person to set up, however the canopy is a bit more tricky to assemble and works better if you have two people to put it together. But, the canopy is nice for shade, and has a screened vent for airflow. There are also two cupholders, a cooler, and a book pocket all built in to the hammock. All together, a very nice way to relax in the back yard, or to take on a camping trip. This can all be easily packed into a carrying case that has straps to be carried like a backpack, although it is a bit heavy to have to carry for very far! I would highly recommend this hammock!

Excellent deal
We had been shopping around for a camping hammock for awhile before we came across this hammock. A "normal" free standing hammock available locally was priced at over 300. Assembly was very easy, after a quick read of the instructions (1 page, with pictures!)The sunshade / rain cover is a great idea, it locks in place so that the wind won't move it, but with a little bit of force while laying on it you can move the shade around pretty easy and it also includes a cover for the window in the shade if you're out in the rain. The included bag is good, it even has padded shoulder harnesses, however the whole thing is quite long and bulky, I doubt you'd really want to lug it around that far. But, it would make bringing it down to the beach or a short walk doable. The fabric needs a bit of time to strech, so it also comes with 2 "S" hooks so you can connect the hammock part to the frame for the first few times. The instructions make it sound like after a few uses the hammock will stretch and you'll no longer need the "S" hooks -- so far, our's hasn't stretched. The included pillow, which actually connects to the hammock so it doesn't get out of place is a great idea. Now for the "meh" bits:It feels unsteady at first, you'll get used to it, but the first few times getting on it, it feels very unstable, and the bars below would definitely suck to fall on, which dispite almost sounding like a contradiction -- there isn't much of a swing motion like there is on a normal hammock. The cup holder is great, but there is *just* enough motion that if you're not super careful, you'll end up spilling your drink.

One of the rings that hold it together came not correctly
I assembled it as soon as it came and found that one of the 4 rings that holds the primary fabric for you to lay on is not completely closed... This was originally an order that was the other iguana colour, then Amazon said they couldn't get it in, now this come in the mail... By the time I actually get one that can be used, summer is going to be over.
