APITURTLE FIX Nonbacilli Turtle Remedy 4-Ounce Bottle

I’ve been keeping turtles for over a decade now and have used melafix and then I found this. It works just as well and great at getting rid of fungus and cleaning wounds on your turtles! I do a little bit in a small container of warm water big enough to put my turtle in and let them soak for an hour a day until I see I see results. You don’t have to add this to your tank if you don’t want to so it doesn’t disrupt the beneficial bacteria. From my experience both methods work just fine. I hope this helps anyone!

i'm going to point out a few things for some people:1. no one should expect this product to save your turtle's life! if your turtle is really sick, go see a vet if you really care about your turtle. this product should not be your last resort, EVER. a product less than $10 isn't going to save your turtle's life if its symptoms are really bad, stop expecting a miracle.2. this product was never intended to treat respiratory infection. how does anyone expect a water treatment to improve their respiration? you're supposed to dry dock your turtle for R.I. (keeping them in the water will only worsen their symptoms)3. swollen/puffy eyes? if your turtle has swollen eyes, it may be due to a vitamin A deficiency or poor water quality. while "turtle fix" might help by fighting off fungus/bacteria in the water that they swim in, i recommended giving your turtle a carrot soak. soak them in 78 degrees F (same temp as their water) diluted organic carrot juice for about 10-15 minutes everyday until their eyes unswell. (you can also blend carrots and water instead of carrot juice). to prevent swollen eyes in the future, give them a carrot soak at least once a month and if it has to do with your water quality, get a better filter or clean the tank more often than usual.4. do your research. there are some turtle owners who shares their knowledge about turtles online so google it and find what you can about your turtle's symptoms. then again, if you can't figure it out, GO TO A VET

This stuff is amazing! It really made a big difference for out turtle we have. Definitely recommend it, plus you can't beat the price!!

This is tea tree oil. I didn't read the ingredients before buying. I know tea tree is a good treatment for many things but I was expecting something more specific for turtles, not something I could get at any local drug store. However, it has helped my red ear sliders shell which has had fungal infections off and on for years - still not gone but improved. I just feel a bit misled.

We have aquatic frogs and their lil tank was so green and cloudy. We used the prescribed amount of this and it had kept the water crystal clear and ick free.
