This is a prewired harness for Les Paul using long shaft audio taper pots. Carefully hand wired with only the best premium components that perform better than the stock electronics found in your guitar. You will hear the difference and love your New Tone! Note: If you have an imported guitar (e.g. Japan, China, etc.) you may need to modify the potentiometer holes to 3/8 inch to accommodate the Bourns bushings. Very Smooth
'03 Les Studio sounds smoother than ever with this 50s style circuit. Pots do wear out, and this Tone Man rig is a great choice for your replacement project. The wiring work is excellent, and stems dropped right in to the original body holes. Of course these '50s style wiring connection points are different than the '03, but the included wiring diagram and instruction sheets give clear guidance on where to route all for the proper connections. The caps are quite a bit larger than the originals, so the one for Neck must be eased a bit to clear the cavity wall. Due to the "carved" contour of the Les top, save your old stem nuts and washers to use as interior stops on each stem so all your knobs lay fair. Me being very careful about everything... my Start to Finish time was about 2 1/2 hours.

Get ready to enter the tone zone!
The first time you plug in your Les Paul after installing this wiring kit, you will not believe your ears. Between the 500k pots and the '50s wiring, the result is what I believe a Les Paul was always meant to sound like. Wish I'd learned about this years ago. Great price for the quality of this kit too!
