The OG of tactical bags
I've had a number of Maxpedition packs for years! I've had two of their Monsoon Gearslingers and no, I didn't wear them out. They were just a little too tactical for carrying on a plane or as an EDC pack. The Entity 16L is a perfect sling for just about any urban or every day use! Zippers are solid, plenty of organization potential, and build quality is always great. Not so great water bottle pockets but unless you're freerunning with it on it shouldn't be a deal breaker.Highly recommended!

Perfection!
As always, Maxpedition hits it out of the ball park with this.Very good quality, Very good fit, AMAZING functionality.....If your looking for a great bag to hold EDC items and your CCW, this is the PERFECT addition to your EDC list... Looks fantastic, holds pretty much everything you want for every day, and doesn't have that 'tactical' appearance...I have several Maxpedition products, and I can say I have NEVER EVER been dissappointed in any of them!

It’s a keeper ...... BUT .....
First off, this is a very nice pack .... glad to see Maxpedition selling something other thrn Tacti-Cool stuff ..... nicely made, great looking and feeling material ...... more than enough pockets and more importantly, they are in the right places .... no need for ‘pouches’ ..... well, maybe just the extra admin pocket for the inside of the large flap .....BUT ..... those magnet keepers are useless .... why Maxpedition? ..... they just get in the way .....and look kind of ‘out-of-place’ ..... thankfully you can tuck them way, out of sight ..... now the zippers; they are terrible! ..... nice finger pulls, but they don’t work worth squat .... they get stuck and refuse to move ..... so much so that you end up using both hands to open/ close them .... maybe they need ‘worked-in’ but at the Maxpedition price point, they should already be ‘worked-in’ ..... the bridge straps .... the straps from the front flap to the main compartment...... again Maxpedition, WTH? ..... you will cut those off almost right away ....Worth getting though ..... Tacti-Cool is out ..... discreet is in ......The slick hand straps along the sides? ..... why you wonder ..... wait until you start using them ...... you’ll wonder why they aren’t on all Maxpedition slings ......

High Quality, but small size significant problems with a lot of its features
First, this is a typical Maxpedition product that features premium material and sturdy, high quality construction. But unlike most Maxpedition products which tend to stand out as very military or tactical looking, this Entity lineup is very subdued, normal, and low profile with no military or tactical overtones. Even the branding is very subdued and blends in well.Horrible elephant in the room:• The packs small size causes a lot of features to interfere with one another, be of limited use, or just not function well. It's almost like they did the original design on a larger product and just shrunk it. That's possible given this is the smallest of four bags in the Entity lineup.• The result is a product that I would only recommend for routine EDC use with a lot of qualifications, and which I would not recommend for CCW in any way, shape, or form.Outstanding:• High quality Materials and Workmanship• A fully Ambidextrous and very comfortable sling bag• Truly excellent (even amazing) organization capabilities with a lot of pockets and pouches and organizer features, and the ability to add more via hook and loop accessories• The "drawbridge: straps that can be used to prevent the entire from fully opening are very well designed and very useful while still giving full access to the main compartment• Very well suited for a tablet up to the size of a Microsoft Surface Pro and a full host of potential accessoriesProblems:• While there is a lot of organizational capability, it cannot all be effectively used at once because fully utilizing one feature, often interferes with or prevents the use of a nearby feature and because of the bags small size, there are a lot of nearby features○ The worst part of this are the features that are layered on the sides of the bag - water bottle pouches then zippered organizer pouches under those, then under that on the inside, more organizer pouches• When all the organizational capabilities are used as best they can be, there is very little room leftover inside the bags main compartment.• The water bottle pockets are small and short and have no elastic or compression feature around the top so only suitable for small, disposable water bottles in the 16oz range• The magnetic closure flaps are too weak to be of any real use and mostly just get in the way (but they can be hidden out of the way and not used)• Because of the combination of design and construction elements, the zippers are all difficult to operate, often binding significantly which makes using them unpleasant• The zippers on the CCW compartment have no locking mechanism. The zippers here bind as well. The compartment is so small, it it only really suitable for a small single stack pistol and perhaps one spare magazine. These things combined with the small thin openings make quick access near impossible. So I just would not recommend it for CCW.In conclusion, I'd give it 5 Stars for Materials, Workmanship, Organizational features and a few other great features. But I'd only give it 1 star for its poor CCW capability, binding zippers, and features that interfere with one another. Overall, I guess I'd give it a 3 for my purposes, but depending on what is important to you, it could be closer to 1 or 5. I think it would be a far better product in a slightly larger size (perhaps 20 liters), and the larger bags in the Entity lineup may be great products. Unfortunately this is the only size for the sling bag version.

Well made
only one strap so it is a sling type pack. nice size. not a catch all as for the limited space. Best used in my opinion as an immediate carry bag. very well built, pockets and compartments well designed.

Great work EDC bag
This bag is amazing. I've been using it as a EDC work bag. I'm able to fit things I use daily in it with no issue. All the pockets work out perfectly. The side pockets have worked out great for fitting a portable HDD, power bank, wireless earbuds, phone charger, and a few other items. So far in the main part of the pack I haven't used up much room either and that's with carrying gloves, face wrap, and an extra beanie. If you carry a tablet or a laptop I recommend possibly getting a bigger size. I definitely feel I could fit one in this bag but I don't need one. I definitely recommend as a EDC bag for work. If you plan on going all out on a EDC bag then I would recommend one of the bigger ones.

Nice bag - not for every day
Excellent travel bag. I used for 2 weeks in London & Paris. But not an every day bag around my home town. Not big enough or too big for most home uses.

Nice, big, comfy sling but zippers are a little rough on corners
Nice, big, comfy sling but zippers are a little rough on corners. Holds everything I need every day plus room for a jacket. Probably could travel with this for an overnight or two as well. Very nice overall but I wish the zippers were aquaguard and I wish they were smoother on the corners. I also would have liked a moral patch area on the outside of the bag (maybe where it says Maxpeditioin?) but neither of these are deal breakers and it is a great sling overall.
