Flash cards with Audio
The cards are very helpful for learning new words or just refreshing your memory. The quality is excellent. The box they are is not bad . What would be nice is a holder for say 5-10 cards that could be kept in your pocket .

Great Aid for Learning Chinese
Flash cards are a great tool for language learning. But lets face it, they take some work to make, especially when it comes to Chinese when you have to worry about the character, not just pronunciation and meaning. CARDDIA helps you out with 218 cards in 10 topics. The includes include both single words and some short phrases (like good morning). The cards are laminated, so they will survive quite a bit of handling. One side of the card has the Chinese characters in both traditional and simplified script. The other side has the English meaning, pinyin, an illustration, and then the word or phrase in a sentence in Traditional and Simplified characters, pinyin and English. All of that would be enough, but you can also download audio files for each card to make sure you know how it should be pronounced. These cards are great for helping to learn meaning, pronunciation, and the Chinese characters. They are fantastic for the beginning Chinese language student. You can keep the cards handy to leaf through a set when you have 5 or 10 minutes. Soon, you will find your profficiency increasing.

Would not recommend
Beginning Mandarin student here. I purchased these flashcards to quiz myself during commutes. The cards themselves are well-printed and seem sturdy — very durable. That's the plus side. On the downside, I've noticed some glaring misprints and mistakes (for two instances, check the pictures)… I "believes", given that the cards are not cheap, that they would proofread for errors (it's not a 1000-page novel, c'mon, it can't be that hard). Also, the MP3 files are just text-to-speech computer-generated files, not human voices. Quite frankly, for the price, I would have expected a more professional product. Let the buyer beware.
