You can use these to scare off Canadian Geese = they do not understand what it is and breeches the male perimeter --- it's beautiful, really --- shine on the grass or snow near them and it's magical --- they squawk and take off pretty fast --- or head back into the water if there are youngsters with them that do not fly yet. It is not quite as effective if it is a sunny day = you have to walk and get fairly close to them --- shade from a tree works..... but if cloudy or partly cloudy or from a balcony/deck -- this works from quite a distance!! You are allowed to 'harass' geese, but not allowed to harm them as still a protected species.DO NOT SHINE LIGHT IN HUMAN OR ANIMAL'S EYES. just a disclaimer b/c people, well, you know.

Very cool laser, but probably too strong for cats. 5 stars because everything works great, but you should go with a lower power red laser for playing with cats.

These are awesome! The laser is super bright. The UV light works well (helpful if you have cats) and the flashlight is actually really bright for how tiny it is. Some reviews mention the charge life, but they charge pretty quickly. Super worth your money!

For those complaining about the multiple dots, you can remove the end cap to make it a single dot. This works great as a laser pointer, but my god is it bright! Would not recommend using indoors, or for your cat.

I bought this as a toy for my cat, and it is awesome! The red dot is clear, even at a distance ... it works from the couch all the way up half the stairs across the room, and still keeps a clear dot for her to chase. I love the lever on feature, so you don't have to press a button to keep the light on. And love that it's rechargeable!!! I can't yet comment on battery life, but we've been using it for two days now, and it's still going. Plus this comes in a two pack, so as soon as one goes out, I'll put it on the charger and have the other to use. Oh, and the cap to remove for the charger is super easy, and magnetic! So it just pops off to charge, and pops right back on when done. Five stars all around, if you are looking for a pet toy. It does have two other light features, and they seem fine, I'm only using as a cat toy though.

I have had these for a bit now and I think they are great cat toys. My cats love them and they last a while before you need to recharge them. Recharging is really easy too.

SORRY to say I must change my review and my five-star rating. After using the laser for about a week I charged it and it's not a third as bright as it was in the beginning you can't see the blue light at all anymore not that I even use that light and the flashlight works when it wants to. With that being said I could have just got in a bad unit and unfortunately I can't find the black one because you know the older you get the more you forget (true statement) unfortunately. So I was thinking maybe I'd give the company another try but before I do that I think I'll go ahead and read some reviews just to see if anyone else may have had the same problem. If by chance I locate my black laser in the near future and I find I don't have the same problem then maybe I might consider going back and changing it to the five-star review again. Truth be told if one of them worked at least for a while I would still rate it five stars because to give you months of fun with your little ones or big ones or big ones no discrimination here. This was my first review: This is by far the best laser that I have ever bought. It's great because you get two of them so if one dies you have the other one I'll charged up and ready to go. No need for batteries love that. Has three different settings flashlight, light blue LED light I guess and the red laser. Great for playing with your animals but I get a little nervous because it is so strong I'm afraid I'm going to hit them in the eyes with it. It can also be used as a pointer if you're doing a demonstration and you're reading along with something or you want to point to something. Nifty little unit would recommend to anyone and everyone.

Very overqualified for the job of pet fun. But very strong beam with very long range, like a 1/4 to a half mile or further. I love it.
