I have a basic understanding of electrical troubelshooting but these books are definately helping expand my knowledge. These can serve as refreshers and since they're not long books, they can be read within a couple hours. The main thing I was able to learn from this specific book was the soldering process. In the past, I've had issues getting the soldering right and have resorted to only using crimp connections for my wiring repairs. Now I know what I was doing wrong, I can correct it and practice until I get it right. I'll be reading more of his books in order to improve my knowledge on electrical issues.

Simple to read. Real world test. Great info on how to use a clamping ampmeter. Great illustration. Now to read the rest.

Got book to further electrical knowledge,for the most part was easy to comprehend and learned some useful knowledge,going to read part 2 next

I'm a season Technian this book is for a beginning tech not for a experience tech it does nothing for me very disappointed

great for beginners and refresher I loved the examples in the book and with pictures you can’t go wrong it is worth looking at you want be disappointed. Well worth taking a peek at you will like it

After a quick scan I feel this manual will guide me in testing and fixing/soldering the faulty wiring in my Microsoft keyboard.

Exellent book for an apprentice or mechanic that does not have a grasp on electrical trouble shooting.

This is a nicely laid out book that covers the subject of basic electrical testing of circuits great for beginners and OAPs alike.
