My current tankless water heater is 14 months old, extremely hard water at my house, but after 7 different filters of some kind from both kdf medias to birm, to shungite rocks and also sodium polyphosphate before it enters my water heater, the water is cleaned up to a point but still is harder water than most people ever experience, just saying that to say this, I have used flow aide and I have used chromex, this cleaner pulled out some scale equal to probably both the other 2 combined, after the cycle was done(I run a booster pump in a loop through a reservoir at 60 to 65 psi for 45 minutes ) I fired the water heater back up and according to the app the new output temperature was 4 degrees hotter than it normally would be, I have my water heater set at 140 F, watching it live on the app it hasn't quite hit 140 in a few months, I would get 136 to 138, after the cleaning it hit 142 to 143, that tells me all I need to know about this descaler, do with that what you want to, I'm just sharing my experience with it from 2 days ago

I have a tankless water heater and lots of calcium buildup. After doing A LOT of research I decided to buy this stuff, and WOW! it works great! I was very pleasantly surprised at how well it worked. I had used straight vinegar in the past to clean my water heater, but I guess it just wasn't strong enough. I love that this is safe, but effective. I didn't want to run harsh chemicals through my water heater and have it run through my pipes and out my faucets.I think it's totally worth the money I paid! It doesn't have a strong smell like the vinegar does and cleans way better! I will definitely be purchasing again!
