Perfect for day-to-day tasks, a HTPC or Linux server!
I've had this for a week now, which has been plenty of time to put it through its paces. Overall, its a solid little box for using as a HTPC running plex, streaming games via Sunshine/Moonshine, or using as a Linux server for a NAS, Frigate server, etc. With it being a Celeron processor, don't expect to be using it as a daily driver for intensive apps. Though it would be perfect for a small unit if you just need to browse the internet to check email, make bookings, etc. Though, where it really shines, is as a mini Linux-based server.I've currently got this running Proxmox as part of a small cluster of other mini pcs (much easier with its compact size), dedicated to controlling my CCTV system. When setup properly to utilize the built-in iGPU, it is handling a small handful of cameras without issue, barely even spinning the fans and doesn't kick out any heat so stays both quiet and cool. The model I purchased comes with 16gb ram + 512gb storage which is plenty for most tasks, but I wouldn't do anything too taxing (like writing CCTV footage) to the AirDisk SSD it comes with. Though with its 4 USB 3.0 ports you can easily add an external HDD.Overall, while it isn't a powerhouse performance-wise, it is a great little device for a great price that can easily sit on your desk (or mounted behind your monitor with the provided bracket).

The perfect little home server
I'm running this as a small home server, as part of a 2 node Proxmox cluster. My main objective was to keep it low power - and I also hoped for low noise. I wasn't worried about the 4 core / 4 thread count because I'm running a small number of undemanding VMs (mail server, DNS, firewalls). The actual CPU utilisation is under 10% and the mini PC easily copes. The unit is very quiet and and N150 processor sips power rather than gulps it. I plan to buy another shortly to replace a hulking great tower that's been running for a decade.

Just Really A Great Little PC.
Has dealt with everything I have thrown at it, with out any hick-ups. It has not been switched off since I set it up. It deals with all our TV and Audio Streaming, and interfaces with our Fibre Broadband router without any issues. If I was to be asked if I would like any additions to the unit, it would be for 1 more USB 3 port please. It's worth every penny.

GMKtec OK but Win11 too bulked out with non essential apps.
The GMKtec seems a sturdy product. I bought this to be Win11 ready, but found Win11 just far too bulky for my choices and had to spend a lot of time getting rid of too many apps and stuff I won't be using and setting it up to work the way I required, but the updates nearly every time you turn on has left me leaving it to gather dust until needed.

Great little mini pc for automated tasks
Excellent mini pc with windows 11, I just needed a small pc to always remain on and run some automated tasks for my home cinema room that could have usb inputs and an audio input. This worked perfectly for that, the power button acts as a sleep button aswell, so if want to I can easily put it onto standby when I don’t need it and then press the button to get it out of sleep and it continues doing its tasks without me even having to load up the screen via hdmi.Only small negative I would say is that it’s a little bit too light so can move around a bit when all cables are attached. I prefer heavier box so that it remains in place like the Apple TV does.

Good replacement for a old tower PC
Setup was straightforward. Had no problems with heat. Seems to work much faster than my old PC. I only use it for work and general internet stuff.

A mini pc that really delivers
This is a high spec, well made and very well priced product. Performance is notably fast and responsive. It’s also very easy to reconfigure the device to suit your needs. I have been very impressed by it and am definitely considering buying additional same or similar devices from this brand. Finally a mini pc that delivers.
