Really like the style but they are way too large have worn a size 10.5 all my adult life, a 9 or 9.5 would have fit much better.

I state "somewhat small" but not he case. I wanted a nicer/stylish looking sandal. I own river sandals- for the river.I'm 210 and 6', but with a 8.5 WW foot.Usually have to go to a size 9 to get the extra wide - if I can not find WW/EE . After reading the size reviews I went with a size 8.It is a little snug. Howsoever there is about a 1/2 inch from my big toe to the front protector tip. Which is the right way to wear a shoe.The really down size issue here, Is the back heel strap. It is too short they need to add another ~1/2 inch to it. The valcro strap can only reach into the locking valcro about .5 inch. It works but not well. Charge $1 more and do it right!I am keeping it. However, if I had found this sandal in a shoe store. I would not have purchased this shoe size.

Well, so far they're great. I've only worn them for a few hours but they were comfortable right out of the box. And the leather is the right color--should get better with age and a little salt water. Not to diss anyone's product, but I had previously ordered a pair of Chaco sandals at four times the price and sent them back--these feel better, give toe protection, and--at least for an old man--are a much better product.

These appear to be very well constructed and of high quality. They look great. But, like so many other reviewer's, they run large. I took the other's advice and ordered a full size smaller than I usually wear and they fit fine. I wear a 7-1/2 and I ordered a 6-1/2. I could have gone a size and a half smaller and they would have still been fine, since they are adjustable across the back. The strings across the top are also adjustable and not just for show. I took away a star for the bad sizing.

Sizing is a little tricky with this brand, I normally wear 10 or 10-1/2 in a standard shoe/sandal. When i recieved the first pair they were way too big, I returned/replaced them for a 9-1/2 and they fit end to end very well with a little tighness on the front left side of the left sandal. Dont know if my feet are irregular or not but thats not unusual when trying out shoes for me.(tightness on the left foot) Over all I like the look and feel of these shoes and the discomfort is not a big issue.

Nice sandal. There's no doubt that it is a second. If you look at where the two pieces of material come together just before you get to the closed toe, you can see where something was printed on the material under the two pieces. It does not affect the performance, just looks a little cheap. The material under the sole of your feet is a little rough but I am getting used to it.

Not that pleased, they look ok but the inner sole under foot is grooved instead of smooth so it feels like ribs on the soles of my feet, not comfortable for long wear, i'll throw them in the boat for back up....would not recommend or buy again..
