Wow!
I brought this so that I could reuse my Kef KHT front and centre speakers in my home office. My FIIO K7 BT feeds into it via the AUX input. The HT4S has no issues driving the three speakers and there is no distortion when I turn the volume up above comfortable listening levels. I play a broad range of music and so far, nothing has fazed it. I'm extremely pleased with the HT4S, it really has exceeded my expectations.

Honest review for someone wanting great sound paired with a TV in the bedroom
I bought this to power some old tower speakers connected to my TV in my bedroom. Previously I has a full side, old, marantz avr with an optical in on my bedside table which was huge and great but totally out of place. This came up on offer with a voucher at roughly £105. It reads like a 5 channel amp that might be mistaken for a home theater replacement but it can't decode surround sounds formats so don't buy it thats what you're after. Reviews I found on YouTube were focused on SIM racing using it as a bass rumble module and I'm sure it's great at that. For me I disregarded all that and got it as a small footprint, 2 channel amp that had optical in for the TV. If you forget about the extra speaker outputs and consider it an amp 2 channel amp with a dac I think it's great. It looks lovely. A lot more premium than the similar priced amps that have the inputs on the front and need to be screwed down. It's built well enough to look lovely on a shelf. The remote works great and you can turn off the led indicator for the source input if you don't want to see the light. I've only got it plugged into the optical out of the TV (remember to switch to pcm or you won't hear anything) but it sounds great. I think, if you're not listening to music through a smart TV it would pair really well with a wiim mini for a budget network streaming solution. And it's got a sub out. I think an under the radar great start to a pretty premium, small footprint, separates setup. So far so good. And you can plug an Amazon echo via the 3.5 mm jack or Bluetooth to it so a very versatile device

Beware for PC Sim Racing Use
A decent amp overall. However, despite the advertising. If intending to use for Sim Racing/Bass Shakers. Be aware that, it does not have discrete channels, that could be used within SimHub. Both the Aux/Spdif connections are only 2 channel input. Which means all 5 channels output the same source, other then L/R Stereo. Meaning you cannot allocate separate effects to all 5 channels. For console use, is fine as will only get Bass from Stereo Channels anyway.Re-purposed it for another application, other than SimHub based Sim Racing.
