Expensive maybe, but rock solid performance from a well known brand.
I am not a big fan of generic branded badly designed equipment mainly as it looks ugly sat under the TV. This one however looks great, it's made of metal so has a premium feel and the LEDs are amber and green (one to show selection and the other signal), as a consequence it looks much nicer (no bright blue LEDs!!!). Works well although I predominantly use the remote as due to most devices staying on the auto-switching can be unreliable.Expensive maybe, but rock solid performance from a well known brand.

Dead On Arrival
Unfortunately came with a mains adapter fitted with a European 'C' type plug rather than a UK one, but since the input voltage was described as 100 - 240v AC and I had a physical adapter to a UK socket to hand that wasn't such an issue. What was more of an issue was the fact that the switch arrived DOA. The switch itself does shows a yellow light against connected sources even un-powered, but doesn't function other than to illuminate an LED. I actually suspect that the mains adapter is dead rather than the switch, unfortunate that it had to be sent back immediately. If anyone can recommend a decent, reliable HDMI switch I would very much appreciate the advice, back on the market again.....

Superficially great quality - full metal case and seemingly very robust item. However HDMI-out port completely defective with no signal. Tested cables and all power-up order permutations and nothing. Despite casing a poor quality item. Avoid
