This is my first one, so I can’t compare it to the bigger brands yet, but as far as I can tell this can compete with the rest.Whether you have a medium sized mic or big mic, this will be enough for you. BEWARE! This windshield pop filter WILL NOT fit over the harness. It bites down on the tippity top of your harness for medium mics and has a foam attachment for larger mics.For larger mics you have to slide the snug foam attachment to the upper mid of the microphone body, in between the harness area and microphone screen. This will center the windshield pop filter, so that it doesn’t touch the back, front, top and sides. Then you place it inside of your harness.I’ve left a voice recording for you of me using this in a noisy environment, so you can get an idea of quality and tone preservation. No effects, eq or compression was used whatsoever.
