Genuinely 5 star
I have probably 20 dongles dacs and many iems also many hires players . But this one on the go style and very handy easy operation. Firstly I tell what's I liked about this one .1. Very low battery consumption2. Very small actually I like the design3. quite power enough to drive any iems even planar one .4. Doesn't get very hot only warm5. Nice sounding better than alc5686 dongles even better with not bass heavy iems also good detail.5. Excellent mic support if you have earphones with mics very clear conversation also remote support volume up and down play pause.6. No crackling or digital scratchy soundI'm very happy so far.Only nit picking if you try big ohms impedance headphones like 300ohms you might get struggling. But otherwise best solution on the go .100 percent recommend.

Little but strong DAC!
Realy like this dac amp. very small in size but very large in performance, manages wired headphones remote controls, noticed many details in music. 1st time purchaser for any kind of dac amp, I recommend this! Running amazon hd music. Everything works great no problems right out of box.

Doesn’t fit with my case. iPhone 16 pro max usb C Port
The device requires me to take off my case which is a non starter. It’s a decent DAC for what it is but be warned it may not fit. There is only 1mm clearance. The usb c iPhone 16 pro max has usb C port so should have been a direct connection

Amazing audio quality.
I tried with lossless flac source and audio quality is amazing.

Lot's of punch - but awkward fit
The DAC certainly boosted the output of my phone - but not 100% sure that it massively improved the audio quality, and the DAC doesn't fit well if you have a phone case. Also used it with a laptop but it wasn't as good an audio quality as my desktop DAC/Headphone amp that I normally use (Cambridge Audio dacmagic 200M).

It works and it's loud
It gets louder than anything I've used even the other S9 hidiz dac. It's really good

Excellent quality sound
Such is the problem with modern phones that they don't include a 3.5mm headphone socket any more, so I have been through several USB to 3.5mm adapters. They all seem to have faults compared to old phones that 'just worked'. This adapter might be pricey, but it's definitely the best I have tried so far. It's much smaller than expected, but seems sturdily built. I'm not sure if I prefer this format over the ones that have a small cable - they seem less likely to have an accident that breaks the USB plug - but in reality it's so small it probably isn't much larger than a plug anyway. Be careful not to lose it though as this would be very easy given its size.Audio quality is noticeably better than the best adapter that I already have, crisp clear sound and slightly louder as well. This is shown on the oscilloscope as well where this has less noise and a higher peak to peak voltage output. The adapter seems to switch off when no audio is being played, but turns on fairly quickly. You might notice the first fraction of a second being missed at the start, but other than that it works very well. Unlike some other cheaper adapters there is no noise cancellation that cuts in between tracks, so you don't miss the start of every new song or book chapter while is whirrs back into life again - just clear steady sound.Maybe a little pricey - nearly £40 at the time of writing, but you do get what you pay for, and this is definitely the best I have come across so far.
