It contains cotton-rag blended paper which is great for writing. SIZE: 2" x 1 3/4" It had a threaded tie to hold the journal in place. LEATHER: This journal is made of recycled leather. We use non-toxic dyes for the leather covers which may be absorbed at different rates showing alterations in tone. The leather is not waterproof so make sure to NOT immerse your journal in water.
