Was so surprised how great and vibrant the color came out on my daughter’s hair. She has light brown hair, and I used the foam and covered with a shower cap and left it on for an hour. Rinsed it with cool water and blew dry it to see the color. She loves it!

I was super interested and in this because I had never tried a foaming hair color. When I used it, I decided to mix half dye with half conditioner. I figured it would fade very quickly based off the reviews here.I didn't have any issues with it being too messy, but I mixed it in a bowl first, rather than spraying it into my hand. I did get a spot in the counter, but some bleach got it off easily. I also made sure to rinse it in the sink, rather than my tub, to keep it from staining. When I showered the next day, there was no staining and the color barely bled :) and when applying, I left it in for 30 minutes.I like the color a lot. Very vibrant and fun. I added a before, after, and 3 weeks later. In the last pic, I had been swimming/gotten my hair wet in the hot tub a few times. it faded a lot quicker than if I had taken care to keep it dry during those activities. I would say the longevity of the color is pretty good, all things considered. Definitely worth buying !

Proceed with caution. The foam seems really cool until you actually use it. Very thin and stains EVERYTHING. It doesn’t know what color it wants to be. I ordered the purple but it came out blue in most spots. As I was rinsing it I felt like I was watching sleeping beauty when her dress changes from pink to blue. One second the water looked navy blue the next it was bright pink. My hair also feels dry and gross. I am use to Arctic Fox, and I am deeply sorry for trying this product.

I have brown and grey hair. The pink looks like a pink-purple color. The bright parts in my photo are my natural grey. Overall, I am pleased.

Faded to blue/teal/turquoise after one wash both times I used it.It is a pretty green shade right out of the bottle and onto the hair, but it does not stay that fun green. It absolutely faded to blue and has continued to fade to a lighter blue since.(Also, it's taken several months for it to wash out... Not terrible, but definitely more permanent than I was expecting.)

My daughter’s hair was previously lighten and colored multiple colors. Most of it had faded to the nasty brassy green and yellow with only the blue hanging on for dear life.Sugar cloud went on easy and covered all that with no problems. I was worried that with the colors under it that some strands would be different colors. Wasn’t a problem. The difference is so minor I don’t think anyone notices but me and I have to really look to see.It was a bit messy going on but what I did get on her face on accident. It was easily removed with dish soap and water.There’s no transfer either. Typical when I color my hair “fun colors” it gets all over the shower and everything my hair touches. I was worried that her pillow case and towels may pick up some color. So far it hasn’t moved off her hair.That is possibly the only draw back on this. We wanted something that would stay on but come off more easily so we can change colors frequently. I don’t know if this is going to happen but I don’t think it’s necessarily a negative either.And bonus points this green is beautiful. It’s going to fade beautifully.Also it did make her hair feel super dry afterwards. Nothing a good ole deep conditioner didn’t fix.

The color is nice and the product works well - however, the bottle is so dysfunctional that this isn't worth buying. You will wind up with liquid dye flying everywhere, rather than it turning into foam. Not sure if I got a defective bottle or if this is a common occurance, but make sure to also buy some cleaning supplies (suggest a magic eraser) if you take a chance on this dye. Or just use literally any other semi-permanent dye. Manic Panics Hot Hot Pink or Lunar Tides Lychee would be wonderful. Splat Naturals Magenta is better than this. I'd even prefer Kiss Tintation (mixed with thick conditioner) over this.Good luck. You've been warned!
