Works great as a sweetner for oatmeal, cookies, all kinds of things.
We eat vegan, plus my husband is diabetic, so we watch what we eat.. I like the Wholesome products, and especially love this coconut palm syrup.. My husband also has some memory issues (he's in his 70's), which we are treating with coconut oil/products (and it really does help).. This particular product does not raise his blood sugar levels, which is great. I use it on our oatmeal, in a healthy cookie recipe I make, really, just about anything that calls for syrup or sugar, you can replace it with this.I was buying another name brand, which cost about $8 more for the same amount, and it is also delicious, but this was a better buy, so I tried it and am very happy with it. However, since my first purchase, the price has increased by $4 here on Amazon, so I won't be buying it through this venue until the price comes back down. Unfortunate that vendors raise their prices so much in one jump here on Amazon at times. It's not an overly sweet taste. It's not as sweet as agave would be (which actually raises my husbands blood sugar levels).. I like that it's not overly sweet.. It just adds sweetness without being too sweet...

Good product, with only one minor flaw
I ordered this product to have in time for Halloween this year. Now, I ordered it a good 4 weeks in advance. It turns out, there was some sort of peanut scare going on at the time. This apparently caused a backup in customs for all food products coming into port on the West Coast. At least, that's what the sellers of this product emailed me to explain. They asked when I absolutely needed the product by, as it was going to be delayed. I told them. They said that was plenty of time and thanked me.I received the product about three business days prior to my "final date" for needing it.I was not at all upset by the delay, since the sellers were prompt and courteous with me in communicating about the issue. To me, this is a sign of a quality, caring seller...and I thank them for their attention to my order. My one complaint about the product is that a fair number of the wrappers sort of "pop off" by themselves, as the coins get shuffled around. My wife complained about that a lot on Halloween, as we handed these out to trick-or-treaters.(Yeah, this is expensive for Halloween Candy, but I viewed this as a one-time special event: My wife was dressed as Jack Sparrow and I had built my own Davey Jones mask and costume. My pickup was made-up to look like a pirate ship and we had the "Pirates of the Caribbean" theme music playing. So, these pirate coin chocolates were the "icing on the cake" to our fun that day!)But I thought the candy was quite tasty and wished I could have afforded to give out more than one coin per kid (but we had a LOT of kids that day).

Not bad...but not magical or forged by elves.
Ok it's a quality tool but it's not magical. Don't get me wrong, I love Swedish axes. I have a small forest axe from Wetterlings and a hatchet from Gransfors. I use them both frequently and love them. Their quality is so far above and beyond what you might buy in a hardware store it's not even worth comparing them to the junk that True Temper or Collins is throwing out. The same can't be said for the maul. While it is a beautiful, finely crafted tool, it doesn't really split wood that much better than the 6lb lump of Mexican Iron I've been using for years. Is it prettier? Yes. Would it glow blue if orcs were near? Probably. But, unlike an axe, a maul doesn't benefit from precision Scandinavian craftsmanship. The steel doesn't need to hold an edge, the grind doesn't need to be precise. It just needs to be shaped like a maul. It also wouldn't hurt if the handle on this thing was a few inches longer. Lighter mauls are meant to be swung fast, and a bit more length would would be helpful. I do like this thing, and I'd probably buy it again, but don't expect the wood to notice that it's being bashed with Old-Word-Craftsmanship on a stick instead of a similarly shaped Chinese tool. Also, minor gripe, the maul I received does not exactly match the picture. At some point it seems as if Wetterlings changed the design to something shorter and blunter, without the subtle curve along the top of the tool. While i prefer the appearance of the pictured tool, I'm not sure it makes any difference regarding performance.

Classy-looking pirate-style trick-or-treat booty, arrrrgh!
These were a big hit at Halloween. Yes, they're kind of expensive to just give away, but they look very impressive, and they taste better than your "standard" milk chocolate. I would have preferred dark chocolate myself, but that was not offered. We had a "scary pirate" theme going for the trick-or-treaters, and between the "Yo-Ho" song playing in the background, the very scary pirate lady that came to the door, and the generous-sized glittering gold coins that almost look convincing enough to be props from the Pirates of the Caribbean movies, I have no doubt that those kids will remember us next year. BTW, I had no problems with the foil coming off by itself, as some other reviewers had. If there was a problem with the product, it's evidently been fixed.

Great foil design
I bought these for the St. Patricks day parade in Atlanta, of course I had to try what I would be giving out to the spectators. Very good Belgian chocolate to say the least. A little overpriced in my opinion but so worth the smiles I got in return.

Great for Pirate Party
I ordered these for a Pirate Party. They look great. The flavor was good. The only downside was that about 5 ounces worth of coins had come apart and could not be used. That amounts to about 25 out of 500 were bad. Not a large amount, but something to be aware of.
