Easy to use and cheap.

I’d spent hours putting cables in all over the house, using the tool on one end I can then place the other end of the tool on each of my other cables until I knew which cable was each end. The other issue was I’d cables up one as a type a and the other as a type b, easily shows that there is a fault and made it quick and simple to use. Only downside so far is it isn’t waterproof and failed after going through the washing machine on day 1.I’ve only marked as a 4 star as the 9v battery connection is very stiff to remove and will fail after a couple of changes (this is before it was washed).

I've always just bought pre made cables but got tired of them not being the correct size. This was super easy to make sure that the ones I crimped were working as they should.

Cheap and cheerful only needed it for one cable did the job

Functional for home use but came without a box shrink wrapped with instructions for a cable tester that don't match the product. The included instuctions talk about hold a start button for 3 seconds, this product has a switch to turn on and start scanning, the only button on this tester is for the torch LED on the front. As a consequence I'm not entirely certain of the difference between ON mode and S mode other than they seem to scan at a different speed.

Es un producto muy sencillo, es un tester para comprobar los cables RJ45. Funciona bien, tenia un problema con el cableado ya que iba a 100GB, problema que estaba en un extremo del cable, lo he arreglado gracias a dicho tester y ahora va a 1 GBs.

Suite à l'installation de la fibre, j'ai remplacé le fil téléphonique mural par un câble internet (30m). Ce testeur m'a permis de trouver les faux contacts et m'a fait gagner du temps. Il se compose de 2 parties détachables qui se placent aux extrémités de la connexion à tester. Il y a 2 position pour tester, une lente et une rapide.

Product werkte niet

Functional cable tester, tested on RJ45 cables. Both battery modes worked okay, no glaring issues in performance.Battery compartment design is pretty bad though, because securing a battery inside is somewhat challenging.
