An outstanding product!
Its not very often I write a review, but for this product I feel compelled to do so.In a word, bloody brilliant! The wasps like to nest in the wooden roofing above my study which means I have to keep the windows shut as they keep flying in by mistake. They have to go. Previously I've called people out to do this job because I'm VERY allergic to their stings and afraid - each call out is nearly the price of this product - but dressed up and at a distance of 3m I have nothing to fear and one blast an a couple of hours later the activity is virtually stopped. As said on the powder bottle - some wasps will reappear the next morning because they have just hatched out, so I give a second blast to be sure.I don't know if the designers read these reviews ... but a couple of minor ideas for improvement. 1) The colour coding on the tips should really be the same as the poles (yellow should fit yellow not the red poles). 2) A safety on the trigger would be good - I did set it off by accident once - Fortunately outside! 3) I feel the pump should secure more rigidly to the pole - it's slightly too floppy when swinging the thing around.Nevertheless, an outstanding product! Six stars!

The device works really well!
I love the way it easily assembles. No problem sorting all the different pieces, and fitting them together. The pressurised gun isn't noisy, just a phutt 😊.I have used it to access the cavity between my upstairs sloping ceiling and roof. I wore a good face mask when operating the device, and used cayenne pepper to deter rodents from coming in through gaps in the tiles (it's a fairly old house) and then through the overlap of the roof felt.If this doesn't work, nothing will 🤞🤞🤞We haven't had a problem with wasps this year, but if we do, then this will definitely do the trick.PS have only used from inside the loft so far.

Make sure get one long enough
Worked well for rid of our wasps. Got fed up of paying every year for someone else to do it. Only thing was took a few goes and tying onto an additional pole as our house is quite high and an extra pole would have helped so measure carefully. Good product though no wasps now!

Better than i expected.
We'd only recently noticed the large amount of wasps hanging round the roof area near our spare bedroom window. The council had replaced the guttering last year and very kindly damaged the boards that left a gap into the loft. The wasps obviously seized on this perfect opportunity to build a nest.I called the council who informed me they no longer do pest control and put me in touch with a company called SDK environmental (Dial-a-Pest) who quoted £45 per treatment and i'd have to take days off work. I told them to s** off and researched the DIY method of getting rid of wasps. We tried the foam treatment bought from a DIY store which had some impact but the wasps just became really angry. It was impossible to get the foam into the entrance hole.I then found this product here on Amazon and read the reviews and looked at the instructions for use on line and although it's more expensive than the pest company's initial treatment quote, i decided that once it's been bought we can keep it for future use.Delivery was very quick and after a lot of reading and watching the Youtube video assembled the rod, pump gun and powder. We didn't need to use a ladder as the pole extended far enough to reach the wasps entrance hole and blasted the powder in. We used another dose and blasted that into the hole. The wasps went crazy and poured out of the hole but didn't fly away. They just stayed around the nest area for a while. The following morning we sat and watched expecting to see a stray wasp or two but there was nothing. We've seen wasps in the garden and we've been getting rid of those too but there has been no activity near the wasp nest area since. We'll probably blast the hole again next week just in case but i think the job has been done. The kit that you receive has everything you really need for doing the job. You also get plenty of spare powder to recharge the cartridges and a handy little funnel to help pour the powder in to the cartridges. You get a shorter pole for use on nests that aren't too high up and, of course, the really long pole that reaches about 3 metres fully extended. The only things that could improve this product are comprehensive written instructions included in the kit and if it were possible directional tubing to go on the end of the pipe as it was a little awkward to get the powder blasting into the hole accurately enough. This kit really is worth every penny. It has ended up costing me a bit more than getting the useless pest control company in but we can keep the kit for future use and i didn't lose wages through having to be off work. So i think i've actually saved money. My tips for using it would be to either treat at dusk or very early in the morning. Apparently the majority of the wasps will be in the nest at these times. Always wear the gloves and one of those dust masks as there's a fair bit of dust flying around. If you have to get near to the nest then try to put some protective clothing on if possible. Once you've blasted the powder, the wasps go mad and may sting.Because we did our treatments at dusk, we spray painted the target area with a luminous paint so we could see exactly were we needed to aim the pole at in bad light.Replacement powder (should you really need it) is available from Amazon.

Poor back up
The kit is not particularly easy to use but did eventually work. However, customer support is dire, no response to emails and phone contact almost as bad. Suspect this is a 'kitchen table' business with few staff.

Wasp Stopper
Had a wasp nest in eaves of the house ( 16 Feet high) and was reluctant to call out for pest control after gettingstung for £80 the previous year for the same problem. I started looking for a solution "other than getting up a ladder to tackle the issue". I came across the Wasp and go duster stick. Priced seemed a bit steep for a few Rods and a plastic air gun and tub of powder. I took the plunge after reading the few Amazon reviews that were all reasonably positive. Delivery was faster than expected, which was two days from ordering, excluding the weekend. The set up for the rods is simple enough, the 3 metre rod is allassembled in one where 3 Rods just slide out from each other until fully extended and twisted to lock in place. The cartridge's that come with rod are two different sizes in diameter and colour coded yelow and green, the reason for the different sizes is that there is a one metre rod that is also supplied in the box and has a larger diameter exit hole. The 3 metre rod requires the yelow cartridge and is already filled and armed with pesticide, the blue cap will need removing before you use it. the gun simply attaches on the other end of the Rod and pumped up to pressurize the chamber, this can be done before or after attaching the gun to rod. once the Gun is pressurized the rod is ready for use in the area of infestation. Any Doubts about how effective the rod is quickly dispelled as droves of wasps fly out to defend the nest. A second treatment in the same area the next day and the wasps were gone. P.s " this can modified to reach higher with pipe from plumbing suppliers and insulating tape.
