Filled crowd noise to focus on voices and music
I loved my loop switch - I regularly become overwhelmed by noise so when a colleague told me about loops o needed to try them. I opted initially for loop switch as I was going to a music festival with my son and knew that loud music, combined with crowd noises would really impact my stress and overwhelm levels. In the first day I used these on the train to the festival, where they reduced the noise of crowds but allowed me to hear my son who is fairly quietly spoken and whom I struggle to hear when there is a lot of other noise. At the festival they enabled me to focus on the music and my son’s voice without a lot of crowd noises. I was even able to sleep in them to reduce the noise of a busy city we were staying in (I’m a country girl). The negatives of these for me were they made my ears itch a little and I struggled to judge the sound of my own voice so needed to remove them when ordering food and drink x x heading to another concert next week so will be giving them another try 😊 x

Good looking product and effective
Having bought these to protect my hearing during concerts, it reduces the noise levels apparently by 20+ decibels. It does seem to help me and I can tell when they are in and not. I bought the changeable ones to give me the flexibly to change the protection just in case some concerts are quieter than others. Realistically I probably won’t change the level lower than the top level (as the concerts I attend are always loud). I would recommend them, but would suggest that these are expensive for what they are. I probably would have bought the sleep loops instead, as they have a similar high decibel protection and 1/3 of the cost of these. That said, if I am in variable noise level environments, buying a dedicated loop defender would mean I have to own multiple and swap them out. Being lazy, the extra cost saves me buying many variety loops. Would recommend.

Got these for misophonia
I got these a couple months back so I’ve only had the chance to try the lowest setting, but it works well enough. Obviously it can’t filter out all triggering sounds, but if you’re sitting next to someone who breathes loudly, sniffs, hums, etc. they are a lifesaver. You can still hear people talking for the most part, you may need to concentrate. They don’t cut out things like moderate background noises, though (like music in a store or bass from another room). It’s refreshing to have conversations without having to hear the majority of unpleasant sounds, which is the main thing.I wore them out to a meal, and they did block out the sound of everyone else eating, which was amazing, but they amplified the sounds of my own chewing and swallowing so much. I never normally notice it, but it did make me feel self conscious since I couldn’t hear how loud I was actually being. And obviously, if your own mouth sounds are a trigger for you, these are definitely best avoided. Just buy earphones that can play music or white noise instead.I’m not very comfortable having earplugs in my ears in general, but these ones are decently comfy. You have to have them both in at the same time, or the effect is void.Overall, I am glad I have them, but they’re expensive for what they are, and definitely not suitable for everyone, depending on your misophonia triggers. I haven’t had the chance to try the louder settings yet, but there definitely is a difference.

A need for F1 fans
With the timing differences across the world, it's sometimes difficult to sleep in a world that isn't ready for sleep but these made going to sleep so easy and the noise was completely reduced. I woke up refreshed ready for the race weekends that started at 1am/4am depending on the sessions.I used these at Silverstone at the track and the cars are ear drum bursting loud and it is recommended to bring ear protection so I tried these. They completely saved my ears and I could still hear the cars. I had to take them out when coming away from the track as I couldn't hear anyone around me with them in 😂The little case that they come in means that I can take them anywhere which is amazing.I roll over in my sleep so sleeping on them caused a bit of discomfort if you've got them on the highest setting but that could be just how I put them in my ears.I have no complaints from them as they're fabulous and work very well.

No thank you, no good and very expensive
Wouldn't fit in my ears comfortably and didn't block as much as I wanted. Found an ordinary pair did just as good for a few pounds

Comfortable and dims the noise
I'm a teacher, I have a loud voice. Sometimes I don't realise just how loud my voice is. Because I'm loud, my class is often loud as well and I end up with a headache along with them. It was suggested that I try some earplugs as it will help me to hear myself better and adjust my volume. Well, it worked. When I am in the classroom I have these in, and they are on 'Engage' mode. It means that I can still hear the children when they are responding to me, but my voice level is lower as I can hear myself and how loud I am being. When I am sitting there trying to do marking and there is a club going on, I put them to 'Quiet' mode and there is much less background noise. It's surprising how much of a difference that it all makes.I wear these every day, for around 7-8 hours each day. I have sensative hearing as it is, I could hear my nextdoor neighbours smoke detector bleeping because the battery needed changing. They are comfortable in my ears and at times I do forget that they are there.Overall these have been really helpful for me and they have done something to help me lower my voice and to. make my classroom a calmer, and quieter, environment. I would certainly recommend these if you are trying to dull the noise or if you need to become more focused on your own voice level. They do not block out ALL noise, so if you want something that does these are not for you.
