Review of the MIWISE COB LED Strip Light 20ft/6.1m,CRI 90+ Daylight White 6000K.The strips are decent for what you get. Not much of a fan for the 6000k, but the seller did not have 5000 that I was looking for. Thought I would give this a try as I am after the brightest strip I could find. While nice, this wasn't it. It tested out lux/lumen wise a bit less than the other three strips (from other vendors) did.This does come as a complete kit including the power adapter (48w / 2 amp) and a dimmer control.I did measure a few things.- 5m strip uses 1.31 amps (see pic). Unit came w/2a supply which is sufficient.- Color temp came out a bit around 6100 kelvin. slightly higher than 6000k advertised (but not a show stopper). Used an App on the phone and reflected against white paper to measure.- about 490 lux (approx 45 lumens) for 1 linear foot tested. NOTE this was not very scientific (I don't have all the special equipment to do it properly). This benefit was for me comparing other strips to this one.- IP 20 rated. Don't use this in damp areas by themselves. (IP20 would be like offices, IP30 would be bathrooms, kitchens where dampness might occur)- There are 1952 LEDs in the strip. Cut mark is 2 inches apart. This is advertised, and measured a full 20 ft of LEDs (not shortcut by including the wire-tail length).- One end of the strip come with the standard 2.1mm barrel connector- Strip is 8mm wide (see pic).- >90 CRI rating. I have no way of actually testing this TBH. Google CRI if you want to know what that buys you.- This strip (like almost all of them) does come with adhesive on the back. However, do not trust it on anything short of non-porous surfaces (IE: Aluminum channel).Folks that try to stick it to walls, wood, etc are just asking for trouble. If you are wanting to do this where it works well, purchase some aluminum channel, cut it to size, and mount the channel. Not only will it stick to that, but helps to better dissipate heat that the LEDs will create and will give you longer life of the LEDs.Final notes:* includes AC adapter (2 amp)* includes dimmer* very good price ($20 at this writing) for the LEDs, power supply and dimmer.* only one end has a barrel connector. No daisy-chaining however, the power supply would not support it anyhow.Overall, I think the product is fine. Does perform decently (maybe a bit less brighter than some others I tested). I give it a 4-star because not as bright as others of same rating (talking like 5 lumens which is small, but none the less is something). I give it a 5 star for price. Note: No long term testing done here so cannot speak to that. If properly installed (aluminum channel) should do well.

Builder put a single bulb low in the attic and I could hardly see anything. I had already installed decking so we could store empty boxes and holiday decorations in the attic. I purchased two 8’ pieces of 1” X 2” and I installed them high on the rafters above the storage area. I was able to make a whole rectangle with this light strip and have a few feet remaining. So much light now and I can finally see what I’m looking for.As others have mentioned do be careful to not remove the double side tape when removing the blue plastic, I made that mistake and was able to recover from it. Since I stuck this to bare wood I am concerned it will come loose over time. I have LOTS of tie wraps so I used them every couple of feet and I think it will be okay. I am looking at screw in clips and may order those to make sure.I do wish the instructions showed where exactly you can cut this strip, looking the description over several times, I believe I understand now. I will try tomorrow and hope I don’t ruin the strip.This was the simple white light I needed no controller or dancing colored lights. I omitted using the included controller/dimmer I have a remote switch and now I can turn the lights on before climbing up the ladder. Very happy with this purchase so far.

I love these lights even more than I had hoped! They were easy to put up. I put them on the ceiling so I had a friend help me so I could put it up nice & straight across my ceiling.

Great lights, wrong size. Ordered the 10mm connection pieces based on this saying it was 10mm. Wrong. 8mm, I ended up ordering another batch of 8mm

The media could not be loaded. First of all it can be dimmed to your liking. Very bright you don't have to buy any connections I only wish they made a remote with this. Button works perfectly. As you can see its very very bright makes my toilet look so chic. I really love my space. I bought one that I had to buy connections and it was not long so I had to get 2 of them they didn't even last one day they just couldn't work. Now I know buy from ppl you know you can return if it doesn't work. I really appreciate the length 10m is great look I even overlapped on one side wao is all I can say I will see if it stands the test of time I will come back with updates after a few months hopping that it wount fall of the wallSticks good easy to install wao you don't have to get any attachments that way the lights are flawlessI just put some adhesive tape where I bent it to change direction but overall I am liking liking all I say is wao and thnx will be buying more I wish they can make it even longer

Revised: I had problem with the strip set as described below. MIWISE reached out to me promptly and try to help me with the issue. MIWISE sent me a replacement set within two days with connectors. I am grateful even though I now need to redo all my connections. All is working fine. Will definitely buy again for my upcoming projects!Old: Maximum strip light will only works up to 14.5 feet then does not work. I use this and coupled this with the MIWISE 8mm Connectors Kit for 2-Pin COB LED Strip. I tested the strip ahead of time and it works fine. Started installation, but after 14.5 feet coupled with only 9 connectors, it stopped working, but as soon as I remove the rest of the length, it works. I chose this based on the 20 ft length and the COB. Now, I would have chose another brand that usually are only 16 feet long. Disappointed as my project is not 5.5 feet short despite what got left in my kit.

Cool idea but rendered useless by ineffective adhesive on the strip. I got it for the non dot seamless look but now the only way to mount it will to be with some cord clips which defeats the purpose of the continous light strip. Such a small thing that ruins the whole product.
