​​Folding Paper lamp: $27.99 at the time of reviewIf there's one thing that I love, but don't need anymore of, it's quirky little lights. Whether it be a flashlight, a mood light, a toy light, or a proper lamp, I love me a good lighting solution. That's why, when I saw this funky little expanding paper lamp I immediately wanted to give it a try.*What I liked*:I wasn't expecting just how slim this lamp is. Overall it's just over a half inch thick when it is compact. That makes it seriously portable. Frankly, outside of camping, I'm not sure what the case for carrying this little lamp around, but boy you can do it easily. This thing would slip right into a backpack or a purse and you wouldn't even know it's there.It's also super easy to use. You literally just pull it apart and twist slightly as it's coming up. The lamp has three adjustable ‘open’ positions but the lighting is consistent regardless of the open position.Speaking of lighting, adjusting the dimness of the lamp is super easy. You just hold your finger on the power button and the light level auto adjusts down or up.Another plus that I'll mention is the fact that the charge port is USB-C. Too many little consumer electronics like this still come with USB-micro. There's just no excuse for it. So thankfully, this lamp designer did the right thing and put the more ubiquitous port on it.*What I didn't like*:The only potential issue that I see with his lamp is the price. It is definitely novel and it looks great. But nearly $30 for a little lamp with questionable utility seems like a slightly high price to me. I would've loved to have seen it closer to $20 bucks.*The Bottom Line:*After everything is said and done, I still really love this lamp. It's such a neat, novel implementation of a stylish paper lamp that I love it. It's easy to use, easy to charge, and provide a decent amount of light. It's also a great little piece. So much so that not even what I consider to be a relatively high price is enough to keep this from a five star out of five rating from me. I love this thing. I’d totally ordered it over again.

I don't have a TON to say about this item - other than the fact that it is SUPER compact, AWESOME for anyone who travels.... and takes up very little space in one's luggage. This thing DIMS.. it opens in various (origami type) positions, and recharges with the included USB cord (no extra batteries to purchase). It is a simple thing of beauty - that can be brightened to light up a room, or set so low you could use it as a nightlight. I LOVE this product and will DEFINITELY use it for all my upcoming travel needs.... especially around the holidays when I could use a little extra light in my life! Cheers!

I love this unique paper lamp! It is super compact which makes it great for traveling. It is dimmable and you can set up in three different stages. The lamp does not need any batteries, it comes with a UBS cord for charging and it will hold its charge. This unique lamp would be a great gift, or something that you could enjoy for yourself. I highly recommend it.

I am very impressed with this lil beauty.super easy to use.The wood and material they used are high quality and very appealing to the eye.the fact that i can make this lantern smaller is a smart idea.the warm light is easy on the eyes and it folds down to a very flat piece. Its hard to believe that its a light until you read the instructions on it opening up and to pull gently while twisting up. Such a clever design and it could be considered a luxury item. The charge stayed for about 8 hours and the flat button on top makes it so easy to dim or turn off/on with a light tap.nice really nice...

I'm so pleased with this lovely little desk/ table lamp. The item was packaged well & is quite compact. I hope the video shows how sturdy the material is, yet how easily it twists opens. The stepless dimming is a nice touch as well. The 3 height options is so unique! When I saw the product video showing the lamp being placed in a handbag I thought it seemed a little silly, but it's actually brilliant if you’re planning to take an afternoon picnic that may last into the evening. It would also make a nice decoration on a table-scape for dinner.I would highly recommend this product. Whether it’s for a desk / night stand or a table decoration, the lamp makes a great décor piece. I would like to purchase more of these lamps and do a mix-match display with the other design options the company offers.
