I was skeptical because there’s tons of lip stains out there and each one is so different but for $12 I was willing to try this one. I think it works super well and is very easy to work with. I use it as a full lip color, not just as a liner, and it’s stayed on all day even with eating and drinking. I did it before bed to test it out one night and I actually had trouble getting the stain off my lips the next day. I looked like I was wearing lipstick and I was in gym clothes lol.It seems a little tough to work with because it’s thick, but you really don’t have to get it as perfect as you’d think. The color doesn’t stick to your skin as much as it does your lips. The trick is if you’re unsatisfied with the first application results, do a second one.This is how I use it:apply it all over my lips (avoid the inside of your lips, it does get on your teeth)wait 15-20 minutesuse tweezers to peel it off*repeat the process with a second application*The color comes out great and it lasts forever. I have Heyzel and Clover and both contrast well with my extremely pale skin. Clover is my favorite, it comes out as grayish purple on me

i love this lip stain! i got the shade p-inked.BE WARNED!! there is a learning curve to this but once you get it down, its amazing! i wasnt too sure about it before hand but once i worked with it and gave it a chance over a week period, i fell in love!!!you need to have CLEAN, DRY, SMOOTH lips. and i mean DRY! wipe your lips with a paper towel and get rid of all the moisture.i leave this on for more than 20m, and on me it looks like a deep berry pink that gradually fades into a light pink. it looks gorgeous with a lip gloss but is very cute with a lip balm as well. not irritating at all.i cant say it lasts all day, i have the deep color from 8am-2pm and then after my lunch it fades into the light pink color. i, however, am usually drinking and eating. water is going to be what fades this the fastest so drink with a straw!!still gorgeous, i have no complaints at all. i love it!!photo one is fresh application with gloss (fenty gloss bomb in shade fu$$y)photo two is at 6pm when i get home from work

Beautiful color! Super easy to put on, and the pigment is buildable and natural looking!I applied 2 coats to each lip for a smooth, single layered peel. (I recommend applying a thicker layer to make it easier when peeling)For the bottom lip I left the product on for about “12 Minutes”, and the top for about “20 Minutes”. The color match is perfect for the natural contrast in my lips.The longer you leave it on, the darker the stain will be. Only reason I didn’t give a full “5 Stars” is due to the pigment smearing “SLIGHTLY” if it gets wet before the initial dry cure is finished.For my bottom lip specifically, after peeling, a bit of product that hadn’t dried in the corners of my mouth had tinted the center of the lip when I tried to wipe off the remaining peel with a damp towel.The results of that were still pretty though but do me mindful that any dry area that the product touches while “wet” will most likely stain.

The people with bad reviews are misleading because they're not doing it correctly and their expectation is wrong. Any peal off lipstain is tricky to work with and can make a mess. Yess it gets on your teeth if you're applying all over. You do have to brush your teeth when you're done. It wont come off it one clean peal if you apply all over because it wasn't intended to be used all over. It comes off in one clean peal if you're using it as a liner only and allow it to dry completely. If you have alot of peach fuzz on your upper lip, it will pull your hair if you over line. Obviously. It you have dry skin pealing on your lips, it will pull on it if your applying it over it. Obviously. Some of these reviews are like...... really?!? I mean come on. There's a reason it advises to clean and exfoliate before use. If your lips are pealing, don't use it at all unless you're ready for a little sting. If used correctly, this product is fantastic!!! There are different types of skin around our lips and the stain will last different amounts of time depending on where you're applying it. The outer area where we line holds stain longer than the middle areas of our lips. The closer you get to the inside of your mouth, the less it's able to hold a stain. That has NOTHING to do with the stain and everything to do with your skin. I use this product all over my lips. I have learned (over the last 6 months of using it) that it works it's absolute best if you don't overline much. Remember, the skin above our lip is different than the skin of our lip! If you clean your lips and exfoliate as directed, apply a thin THICK line along the actual lip line, let dry for at least 5 minutes or longer, and then slowly peal, it works as expected. If you're applying all over, line first and then fill it. THICKLY. Once you peal it, it is NOT FINISHED. You have to take a cotton pad or washcloth and clean it up and blend. Then, if you applied all over, you will need to brush your teeth to make sure it's cleaned up. I usually take a q-tip and clean around my lips a second time to make sure it's perfect. Depending on how much stain I leave after cleaning it up and blending, it can last anywhere from a couple hours to all damn day. It really depends on how I did it. The color is gorgeous and nothing else compares in my opinion. I usually put a little elf stain over it if I'm just lining my lips with it. It looks beautiful and natural and there's nothing like it.Again, the bad reviews are from people that don't really know how to use it. Period.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:I’ve been seeing this trending all over the place and decided to give it a shot. I got the nhoode color and i really like it. It’s only slightly darker than my natural lip which i love. It defines my lip so subtly and i enjoy that look. I’ve never been big on lipstick so this is perfect. I have a little bit of aquaphor on top of the finished look, no lipstick.It’s a true nude color, not very dark. It’s an easy application and removal. It’s doesn’t tingle but you can feel it dry. Keep it on for 10+ minutes for best results. I think this is worth the price for such a quick and easy lip look.
