... these insoles over other less expensive options but I'm glad I did
I was recently diagnosed with Morton's Neuroma and needed a metatarsal dome - I'm not sure what made me go for these insoles over other less expensive options but I'm glad I did. When they arrived I was a little sceptical as they are made from a very hard and unyielding plastic but I have quickly found them to be extremely comfortable and supportive. The "dome" part is separate but sort of velcros on to the base making them easy to adjust for the shape of your foot and once you have got past the initial something-in-your-shoe feeling, they are brilliant. They don't provide any cushioning - look elsewhere if you want something soft to supplement an unforgiving sole - but if you need support for your arch and ball of foot then look no further.

Good insoles
Great product. Firm and supportive insoles stabilise my walking and, with the help of the 5 degree wedges, prevent me from pronating. A great success. Somewhat larger-angled inserts would be useful (particularly as some shoes are naturally flatter and less supportive than others) but I think it's probably better to see a podiatrist first if you need more than the 5 degree tilt.

3 or 5 degree posting angle pieces
5 degrees is the max posting angle piece you can choose. Not sure that is sufficient for me; my physio has yet to advise. Is nice and stiff with deep cup giving better support, with the 5-degree posting adjustment, than my previous more flexible ones. The price seems OTT for what they are, but I could not find cheaper with the adjustable posting angle. Someone is driving around in a Bentley on the proceeds of these.

Awful
Supposed to be 5-7 medium. They are far too wide and I don’t struggle with shoes being too wide. Domes don’t stay in place when you put your shoe on they move into the wrong place and cause more pain and even given all this information you cannot claim a refund even tho non of this is my fault.

They work!
I had my first pair fitted for me by a professional - they were expensive and I thought they were w waste of money but they have changed the way I walk and taken away a lot of pain that I was having in my ankle, knee and hip. They also lasted for ages (years) so they were actually well worth the money. I thought I checked the XL size box but I got large, they fit and they work well in my narrower style shoes were I have not used them before - so, happy accident.

Worked a treat
These orthotix are wide and I have narrow feet. So I wasn't sure about putting them in my shoes. But pain got the better of me. I have been able to use them all day from the get go and amazingly have not found them uncomfortable. Definitely supporting my arches. And walking is less uncomfortable. Now I have to build up the posts.
