If you are starting at a University as a math, Engineering or Science major, buy a copy of this book. This book is paperback bout about 2 inches thick. It is full of so many excellent developments across the field of Engineering Mathematics that it will help in all of your math and science classes. I have been a practicing engineer my entire career but it was only recently I purchased this book. I wish I had known about it sooner. The two professors are now retired from the Indian Institute of Technology and I am amazed at the broad and in depth Mathmatical Methods assembled in one place and so well written. Excellent authors!
