I actually really love this duffel. The shoe compartment is great for storing things you don't want in contact with the things in the main compartment. I have a small hamper bag I use to put dirty laundry in and use the pouch to separate it, but honestly it's good for anything, especially if you need something immediately and don't want to dig around the main compartment to find it. On the opposite side is a zippered pouch where I'll keep my passport and phone chargers. It has a single inner pocket that you can zip. The others are just smaller open pockets for sunglasses or keys. Great for weekend or overnight trips. Much less bulky than the cabin suitcases, although if you have back problems you might want to stick to the suitcase with rollers.

I owned this travel bag for about 2 years. I took it on planes, on cross country road trips, and on weekend trips to nearby cities.
