USA TODAY Quick Crosswords (USA Today Puzzles)

The first 70 pages contain quick cross puzzles which are 4 by 4 or 5 by 5 puzzles set 2 per page. The cells are gigantic. The next set of puzzles are regular crosswords with very small cells. I think it would have been better to omit the quick crosses and arrange the crosswords at 2 pages each, with the grid on one page and clues on the facing page. That would give more space for the cells.An irrelevant comment is that these puzzles are too easy.

Puzzle squares were too small and clues based on current young people's lifestyles.

I could not find the information anywhere regarding how many of each type of puzzle. There are 120 of each. The regular crosswords are small print as the puzzle and clues are all on one page. Printed on very rough, cheap paper. But it's a new USA Today crossword book. Not as well done as usual.

Over half of the puzzles are too small and take less than a minute to complete. Deceptive sales tactics. Better puzzle books out there for this price.

I ended up throwing this book away, because of the small print. Very disappointed because the other books in this series I have bought were all adequately sized in their fonts.
