I love this great TV alternative for movie night. Picture quality is pretty okay. I am new to the world of projectors, and there wasn’t much help in the comments or instructions on how to stream videos. Upon further inspecting I realized to be able to stream videos I was going to have to buy another gadget to hook up to it to get it to work. I ended up going to Walmart and buying a “Google Chromecast” and setting it up. It was easy enough, and came with everything I needed for $30. I hooked it up to the projector with the HDMI cord that comes connected to it as pictured. I downloaded google home app on my iPhone and was able to set it up through the app. I pulled up the Netflix app on my phone and at the top right corner there was a TV looking button that allowed me to stream through my iPhone. I’m sure this would work with Android just fine as well. For a person who is as technologically challenged as me, this was easy enough. I hope this helps others who were in the same boat as me!

I bought this projector to use for outdoor movies. Several of the bad reviews just don’t make sense. This works well, within reason.Picture quality is good after a little adjustment. It would have been helpful to have adjustable feet for height adjustment. I used a book to aim it up. Some reviews claimed that it needs to be dark to use this projector. Yep. That’s how projectors work. The pictures I included in the review are just on my garage door.Sound is ok, but you’ll need to attach a speaker. I used an outdoor speaker via a 3.5mm cable. I saw some reviews that the sound output was poor quality. This is easily solved by turning output down via the remote, and turning the actual speaker volume up. Works great.Easy to use with fire stick for streaming.

At the time of this review (10/03/2020) this projector is $100 and with the $20 coupon, drops it down to $80 (which makes it that much better).The set up I used is the Vankyo projector, the supplied HDMI cable, a 3.5mm cable (male/male connection, which is sold separately) for the external speaker, Anker Soundcore bluetooth speaker, Apple’s HDMI/lightning adapter, Apple iPhone and Vankyo’s projector screen (about $35).Some of the reviews here complain about the edges being blurry, this is true. Honestly, if you go to the movie theater or ever had an old projection tv, it’s pretty much the same. A bit out of focus, but the center, where your main focus is at, is pretty clear. This isn’t a plasma, LCD or LED tv.The brightness wasn’t too bad. I live in a suburb of LA, we were in the backyard with our lights out and a street light in the distance. Once again, this really can’t compare to a TV. That being said, the picture brightness was very acceptable for being outdoors.The internal speaker isn’t the best. It’s a speaker in a $100 projector. Glad there’s a 3.5mm jack to connect to an external speaker. I used an “Anker Soundcore” speaker and it worked great for the kid’s movie we watched. I’m sure if you have a bigger speaker it would be better for loud booming action movies. Quick tip: If you use a Bluetooth speaker set up like mine, make sure you turn off the Bluetooth on your phone and turn the volume all the way up on the external speaker. You’ll be able to control the volume via the projector and the supplied remote. Pretty handy.The remote it came with is similar in dimensions to the remote for the Fire Stick. It works great for navigating the projector’s menu and volume control. Feels kinda like a toy though. It works and you’ll be glad you have it. You’ll need two AAA batteries.All in all, if you buy this projector, you’ll definitely get your money’s worth. And if you happen to break it, it wouldn’t be a great financial loss.Now grab some popcorn, a few drinks and enjoy a great movie, outdoors. CHEERS!

I hook this up to my ipad in order to control my kid's viewing short distances for a long time.You'll need an extra HDMI-to-Lightning adaptor not included. Get it, its worth it. Then you can hook up your ipad/iphone to the projector. Then you can get a minijack-to-minijack, also not included, and hook your ipad/iphone to a set of nice speakers and you have a portable home theater system.The brightness is great but the resolution is only okay. There is a focus wheel to get it as sharp as possible and a tilt dial to orient the projection to the angle of the wall depending on where and how you'd like to project on. There is an adjustable leg rest that can give you a more severe angle higher on the wall. I only wish the leg rest was longer so that you could have a more severe angle. I've also used this thing to project straight up into the ceiling and watch things lying down. I also wish the power cable was much longer but some extension cords will fix that.All in all, it is at a sweet price point, ~$100ish when I bought it, subject to change. Its a great starter projector. This is not a be-all-end-all solution but its a great solution and it won't replace your TV/Ipad viewing experience but it is a solution if you want to avoid letting your child stare at a light emitting screen at a fixed distance for long periods of time. Worth the impulse buy. The carrying case is indispensable.Comes with a unit, remote, HDMI cable, VGA cable, Power Cable, Carrying Bag, long q-tips and cloth for cleaning, and User's manual.

Been using this projector for a few weeks now and find it a great value. Using a firestick over wifi that connects to portable jbl bluetooth speaker. Great little system to have for outside as we can stream lots of movie/tv. Only downfalls is that the built in speaker is terrible so would highly suggest connecting to external speaker, and also there are no feet adjustment on the unit. Would be nice to have a height adjustment of two front legs instead of using items to get a straight image off of a table. Would highly recommend at the price , and its small, quiet and bright enough to be used when its still has some light outside. Well worth the money when the pandemic leaves not much to do.

Still shocked by the low price considering how amazing the product is. Did not come with a remote, but came with a heavy-duty carrying case, HDMI cord, power cord, Audio cord, and some others that I'm not sure what for (but good to have extra in case they're ever needed!). Not the brightest projector, but with no other lights on, the image quality is amazing, if only slightly blurry around the edges, but still nearly perfect. I use it to watch movies a few times a week, and use a bluetooth speaker with it, as the built in speaker works well but sound quality is not as good. Overall, the BEST purchase I have ever made, while it's not a professional quality projector, it blew away my expectations and is definately worth purchasing!

I saw this product on Tiktok and thought it would be a perfect solution for me. I recently moved and needed a TV for my bedroom. You could buy a tiny TV for $100, or this massive screen, go with this! Also you don't have to mount a TV onto the wall, but get the same look, so its very renter friendly. Cant recommend enough!!

Es ligero y viene con una maleta. La calidad del video es muy buena cuando esta oscuro. El audio no es malo sin embargo no es suficiente pero fue muy fácil conectarlo a un Apple TV y a una bocina Bluetooth y quedó perfecto.

Superb projector, picture quality and sound is also superb. I bought this in January.Pro tip : try to get it from someone in US, on Amazon.in it was of 15k, while I got it on amazon.com from someone in US at 6k.
