Good for prototypes as long as you don't mind a bit of rework
This converter works well but it the converter doesn't have failsafe logic or a place to stuff passive failsafe resistors. If your setup already has passive failsafe resistors then you'll be fine, but if not you might see random transitions when the bus tri-states.
