Ideal for the elderly
This was bought along with the GreenPax straws for an elderly relative who has difficulty tilting their head back and swallowing. It has proved very successful in use with both mugs of hot drinks and glasses of cold drinks. It is easy to clean in the dishwasher after use. One word of warning, the person who prepares the drinks needs to be quite dexterous, as fitting the lid over some hot mugs can be a bit fiddly until you get the knack for each mug size. I would recommend not filling hot drinks too near to the top of the cup while you are learning the technique, to avoid spillage and possible burns.

Fantastic product. No more spilled pop when glasses/beakers get knocked over.
I bought these caps for when my six year old grandson comes to visit as he has a tall beaker he likes to use. The cap fits the beaker perfectly and is very easy to fit. The cap has three rings that stretch and grip different sized cups or glasses. You can use ordinary drinking straws but if you use the Cool Straws they make for a better seal. If your cup/glass does get knocked over the caps are not 100% leak proof, a little does escape from the top where the straw goes in. I am very happy with my purchase of these caps. I no longer need to worry about beakers of pop being knocked over. My grandson is happy too and has given the cap and straws a thumbs up.The caps and straws aren't just for use with children. I look forward to using them when sat out in the garden in the summer. They will keep the flies and insects out of my drinks.

Love it.
I was skeptical, but they work rather well. We only really use them for our 7 and 3 year old's glass of water on their bed side tables so can't attest to proper toddler use. But I'm pleased with them and our boys like them. Regular straws work ok. It will drip from the straw opening but that's expected. It doesn't drip from the rim of the cup. Excuse me whilst I get rid of all the other cups cluttering my cupboard. Hurrah!

Fabulous product that makes spillages less likely, environmentally friendly and great colours!
These lids are a great idea - bought to use with the matching Reusable Drinking Straw from the same seller, they proved invaluable in the early days after some major surgery that meant I had to drink lying down. The lids are flexible to fit many cups and are easily washed. Best of all they are such a fun colour, particularly uplifting in my own circumstances! And of course they are environmentally friendly! I'll be keeping them to use when I'm better, to use in the garden, on picnics etc.

Whilst the concept is good, this lid does NOT keep liquid inside the cup if mug/cup is tilted as the contents spill from the centre even when a GreenPaxx straw is inserted, this is most disappointing, spill proof to me means NO liquid should get through the lid and it does.

Keeps drinks Hygeinic and dust free in the bedroom and no more spills.
Excellent item, found it difficult to place on when first tried but followed instructions and find it easy now. Wonder if clear silicon would have made it easier to place? Having said that, love the colours!Will be ordering more and recommend.

Hmm not convinced, hard to use and well, don't really see the point / not airtight as suggested, not spill proof, honestly I wouldn't bother.
