Waste of money
If, like me, you are concerned about your health, you’ll want to make sure you are doing everything possible to maintain good health. Having suffered a PE (blood clot) and coronary heart problems, I am now on medication to stabilise my health. I have tried several times to use this device without any success. Collecting enough blood using the equipment provided, I just could not get them to work as described. I’m a retired engineer & maths teacher, so I thought I should have the skills to get the device to help me keep track of my cholesterol level, no. I have had blood dripping from my finger, but the tubes just would not fill as described, ever. My device is now in the bin. Its clearly an art form that requires a lot of practice to perfect. I’m leaving my testing now to the hospital nurses.

Impossible to draw blood for a correct reading.
As a nurse I am used to draw bloods etc. This machine does not read properly if it doesn’t have the correct amount of blood and with the provided pipets it’s almost impossible to get any good results.Either that or the machine is broken. It’s a very expensive item and to reorder the pipets etc is very expensive too, overall all a big waist of money.

Same as drs!
Easy to use. Happy customer. After initial go, was pleased, but since not sure how accurate readings are...I guess medical professionals are trained to do this properly.

Unreliable
Completely unreliable. Two test strips taken at same within 5 minutes of each other show widely different results with some recording either as ‘low’ or not showing any result. It is therefore of no clinical use for such an expensive piece of equipment. Sorry, can’t recommend.

Bought but may be faulty
Bought this meter and initially was happy with setting it up.After two tests with only partial results my third was successful. It's been a while since I did a lab test but they are in line with them.I thought it might be down to not getting enough blood into the pipettes to get a result but I've now gone through over ten tests rom two batches with just the one successful result. I've definitely been putting sufficient blood on the strips but each time I get partial results.I am therefore returning the item as Amazon unfortunately don't offer a swap. I thought it might be a faulty meter.

Needs lots of blood which can't be drawn from fingers
Maybe it would work with blood drawn from a vein by a nurse, but from the fingers it's impossible to get enough blood. The video makes it clear that skewed results will happen if I massage my fingers to get enough blood. The supplied lancets just give a tiny prick which just gives a small dot of blood.Waste of quite a lot of money.

Inaccurate, impractical, and expensive
This meter requires a lot of blood to be drawn from your finger, compared to blood sugar analysers, and you cannot squeeze your finger to ease the process, because it supposedly skews the results. Regardless, the results have nothing at all in common with my usual lab results, even after 3 tries. You cannot experiment because the tests are expensive already. It should be easy, accurate and to require only one test each time.
