Any child would love one ...
4 or 5 stars , I gave It 4 in the endIts ok , sat it in my grandsons 4ft x 4ft paddling pool , it's fine as it's German built I was expecting a little more for my money ...It does track quite nice in the water the sails pick up the wind and drive it along , yes it does go around in circles, it's a toy !! After all and actually when you think about it that's a good thing ..Any child would be pleased to receive this , I got it at the reduced price , it's not cheap but with a little care it will last a long time ...

It actually floats. Can be used to teach children about how the wind affects sailing.

Lovely Boat
Beautiful little boat for our grandson's birthday. He is a little young for it at the moment, so it's only sailed on the paddling pool, but will be great later when we can take it to the park.

Robust enough for the elements
This little boat has endured some pretty wild storms this year including a mini tornado that wrecked the garden around it. Could let the kids play with it but I'd rather keep it for myself! Does a great job sailing around the pond clearing the duck weed.

Great little boat, but not for long
A great little boat for a pond. Unfortunately after a week water got inside causing it to permanently lie on its side. As there's no (non destructive) way to get the water out, it was a write off. If it was better manufactured, it would be a great product. Another Chinese item where cost matters more than quality.

Fantastic value!
In an age of expensive plastic exciting toys, this traditional toy sail boat more than holds it own! Beautifully made, easy to put together I was really impressed. The kids loved it and it has not been put down since it came out of the box, looks great on its stand too. Keeps the kids thinkinging about where the wind is coming from, the best way to set the sail to go faster, superb and easily the best value toy I have bought in a very long time!

A disappointment
I bought this sailing boat as a birthday present for an 11 year old grandson thinking incorrectly that there was some kind of remote control included with it. However not only is there no remote control but the manual settings for the sails and rudder mean that once launched it could set off and never come back. This product is a very basic toy which could easily get lost on a large pond the first time it is sailed, and is simply not worth the price charged in my opinion. I have therefore returned it and applied for a refund.

All round satisfaction
Despite a tortuous route from Amazon Barcelona, the boat arrived on time for an important birthday.It is a well made product and will provide years of fun to family members.
