Video quality:Exceptional image quality. 1080P. Can be set to lower resolutions: 480, 720.Battery life:Lasts at least 2 hours. Very good battery life.Quality:As said, the image quality is exceptional. Camera focus range is pretty large. From a few millimeters to infinity. Functionality:Capable of transferring images or videos to computer for viewing through the SD card. I wish they add wifi capability so the device can be connected directly to an external monitor (big screen TV) for easy monitoring. Actually the provided screen is a little bit small and attached to the flexible camera cable so sometimes it is difficult to maneuver the camera and flexible without affecting the position of the screen. But the problem with wifi capabilities is perhaps the slow image transfer speed. Besides this inconvenient problem, I am very satisfied with the quality of this product.

Used it for wiring home security camera system and cat 6 wiring in the wall. The hook end proved very useful for snaring looped string at the end of the cable. Having a camera at the end and on the side was also invaluable especially with the limited articulation, there were instances where I would be looking for the sting in the wall with the end camera and could not see it but switching to side would show it next to the hook. I found it to be durable as well, I would not recommend what I did, but I used the articulating end to wrap around cat 6 cable and pull it through a couple of times, used a fair amount of force when I did this (frustration drives me to do foolish things sometimes, but it worked!)

This isn't the first borescope I've purchased. I've had the ones you have to use with your phone. Then the one that has a long cable that uses its own screen. (both available on Amazon) Neither of those units are close in build quality as this unit. The articulating head with a side view is such a sweet function. This is probably the best unit on the market in this price range.

Works good. The long cable makes it a little more difficult to twist and turn when your working close to something or in an engine cylinder. Picture quality is great. Easy to hit the picture/video button by accident, just need to be careful how you hold it. The instruction manual is pretty vague, but the tool is easy to figure out with some experimenting. Wish it needed less radius to turn back on it's self. Does turn back 180'+. End cap does not want to unscrew to install end attachments, so I didn't force it...will wait until I need to use one of them. Here is a selfie back up through the spark plug hole. Side camera is very handy in tight areas.Note: Sometimes the unit would not shut off, found a small hole beside the charge port. Pressed it with the end of a paper clip and the unit shut down. Obviously a reset button. Unit would then turn on and work normaly. Hoping that this doesn't turn out to be an issue!!!

I purchased this 5ft model some about six months ago. I used it a couple times and it was absolutely amazing, easy to use and performs excellent. The zoom works perfect and really shows the finest details. Look around corners or to the side or use the split screen for both.Anyway, great product at what I think is a very low price for what you get.But wait!! I had a small problem and I’m not sure what the cause was, and it was six months after I purchased. I read the enclosed booklet and it said to email support for any problems. I really didn’t expect anything back, but I was wrong. The next day I had an email from Layla at DXZtoz asking for more details of my problem. In 3-4 days my problem was rectified by Layla with my 100% satisfaction. Layla is a valuable asset to this company and has proven that real customer service is alive and well, something you generally don’t get from a lot of other manufacturers. After 26 years of buying tools, this may have been one of my best purchases yet! My other bore scope from a highly reputable and expensive truck brand sucked to say the least. This new camera is amazing! The image is super clear and I love the dual camera mode especially for seeing inside cylinders. The best part is the flexible articulating tip. Go on through the spark plug hole and turn it up to see the valves. No more stupid mirrors that fall off or trying to bend the cord at just the right angle to see what you need to see. The length is great and the cable is flexible. I highly recommend this to any mechanic in the market for a new or first bore scope!

This was a gift, and since my truck broke I got to open it early. Used it to inspect the combustion chambers, found a valve hanging open, so I new I had to access the valve train for inspection, had a broke valve spring. Camera/picture function works good. Thanks wifey !
