Fixed a rip along the seam lines on the seat of my leather office chair!
I purchased this because I have a very nice leather office chair that had a 3" tear along the part where it was sewed. It was directly in the middle of the seat and, as you know, gets a lot of wear and tear in that area from constantly being sat upon. In the middle there is nowhere to press down either (just cushion there). I cut off a little piece of the white backing, stuck it in the hole so that it overlapped the tear on each side, put this elmers-looking glue on it, pressed the torn piece on top, and went to bed. The next morning, it was hard and stiff and perfectly glued together! There were a few strands of white fibers sticking out (cushion I reckon). So, I just covered them with a black magic marker. (I coulda used the kit colors, but it was very tiny, so no reason to.) I cannot even tell it was ever ripped! This would work so great on leather couches, loveseats, etc. I highly recommend you try it!

Love this product
I love this product!! I have used several times on my couches that get used daily by several dogs. I have been able to repair big holes and makes the cushions look almost new. Also customer service from this company is amazing!! They get back to you super fast and are willing to help.

Tear repaired
The glue in this kit has held together about a 3+ inch tear in the leather seat of my Ford Expedition. The color matching is a great idea, although I didn't spend too much time on that part of it. I'm just pleased i have something keeping the leather from tearing any further. This kit was well worth the money for that reason alone!

Does exactly what it says and is relatively easy to use
Works very well. Does exactly what it says and is relatively easy to use. I had no issues matching colors as I only used it for black leather boots. It filled the cracks fine and covered up gouges very well. There is really no replacement for untouched new leather but this does an excellent job of covering up the realities of life. Very decent price too. Do wish it came with more patching material as I would consider trying to fix my car seat with it if it did.

Great looking repair!
I was really surprised how well this worked! I had two tears a few inches apart. My car seats are black which made matching colors easier but the texture and look are really good. The repair was made just a few days ago so I am hoping the repair is as durable as it is good looking.The product was easy to use and does allow refilling and reheating the repair until the look is right.
