Q: Will it drain car battery if left on overnight with vehicle off?

No it doesn't turn off because the car turns off! It turns off if YOUR car's power supply outlet has no power with the car in the OFF position. Some cars have both switched and unswitched type of outlets. Look at your owners manual to be sure. As for the original question, if it remains running, the answer depends on the size and condition of your battery as well as the ambient temperature. Extreme heat and cold is hard on batteries. Draining your battery even once usually damages it, so I don't recommend experimenting. If your outlet isn't switched, unplug it.
