It's smooth, solid, attractive, and easy to assemble. We put ours in my son's vacant bedroom (where he left his 60" HDTV on the wall) upstairs, so make sure you have help getting the box to the second floor. That was the hardest part of the assembly! Decent directions, even with the language barrier, and all the parts went together with ease. It even comes with a cool water pump and water tablets so you can fill the spinner tank thingy without spilling. It's fun to use. The only part that made me cuss was getting the digital wiring connected. Old man hands, farsightedness, and tiny connections were not conducive to a good time, but we persevered. Everything works perfectly. Good product.

The instructions were reasonably easy to follow. I put some pieces on accidentally, but overall it was no harder than an ikea nightstand.Using this thing is incredible, you get a ridiculous workout out of it. I highly suggest if you are a beginner, keep the water level low, as we tried it with max resistance and i was beat within seconds. The water has a nice touch as well, and it adds an audio to the row which makes you feel like you are really DOING something, if that makes sense.My one issue is the sturdiness, when I am using it, there is an instantly noticeable bend in the middle where the screws are. My screws are tight, and everything is secure, but it looks (and sometimes feels) like it's going to snap in the middle, causing a huge mess. I'm not sure if this is intended, but it's caused my fiance to stop using it in fear of getting hurt. So far I haven't had any issues, however.

First of all..... fantastic value for the money. We researched for months before deciding on this one and only part of that decision was price-based. We all know "you get what you pay for" but this machine appears to be a diamond in the rough.Second... super easy to assemble. Took about 20 minutes. There were two of us BUT that wasn't needed. Basically, one of us ended up being there for company lolAnd finally... using this thing is wonderful. It doesn't take long to break a sweat. Water filling/emptying is ridiculously simple. The little computer on it is all you need. This machine is even simple enough my 12 year old has no problem using it and gets something out of it (with supervision, of course, put the pitchforks down).Another part of our decision to buy this machine is how well they are known for their customer service. We haven't had to use that yet and hopefully we won't ever have to but if we do, it is comforting to have that piece.Other part of the decision was the weight limit... he's 300lbs and feels very well supported. He says the machine feels very sturdy and he has no worries using it.

Same performance as the water rowers for far less money.

I'd been looking at water rowing machines for quite some time. Living on an out-island, our options are very limited since there is no retailer that sells them on our side of the island. I initially ordered one from a big-chain, discount store. They charged my credit card and never delivered the item. After getting the charge reversed, I figured I'd look at Amazon. I was surprised to find this one available with Prime delivery. The price was about the same as the big-chain store but with free delivery. I read all the reviews and decided to take a chance. My husband and I were, and still are, pleasantly surprised. UPS delivered right to our home. We put it together in about 30 minutes. Everything worked including the display pad. We had no problems with holes lining up, either. We were concerned the rower might be 'rickety'. It feels super sturdy. Solid powder coated/painted metal. Seat has a very smooth glide. No leaks or breaks in the plastic water container. The display tells us everything we want to know. Better directions on how to use the display might have been nice but we eventually figured it out. We're both tall people and there's no fear of going off the end of the rail. It would have been nice to know how often to add the water conditioner tablet, but that's a small complaint. Some people didn't like the foot pad/strap set up, but it works for us. We've used it every day since putting it together without a single problem.

I ordered this machine about a month ago. Assembly was fairly easy, but was missing a part to complete the job. Contacted the seller and they handled my issue in a timely manner. They responded to my e-mail within 24 hours and had part sent to my home by day 3. Now for the operation of this machine, this is my first experience with a rowing machine and I have to say I am happy with the workout I get from it. The seat glides smooth and the water sound is relaxing. It is quiet , and sturdy and easy to lift for storage. The straps on the peddles can be a pain as they tend to come lose , and seat and handle could be a little bigger, but over all I am very happy with this purchase.

My son is a competitive rower so found the computer function too simplistic but for me, it's a great machine for a workout. Assembly was easy and instructions straight forward. Like others seem to say, I found that filling it to max line was fine. The harder you row, the tougher the resistance gets. Being able to just lift it up vertically is great so that it doesn't take up all the room in my home gym.Good value but not in the same league as the $1,000 professional level rower (as you'd rower).

We've used this machine for a little over two years and it has been a staple for our small home gym. I had originally got it to strengthen my back but get the benefits of working out other areas of my body. Super simple to set up as well!Unfortunately after two years the water reservoir has cracked. I contacted customer service to purchase a replacement and they went above and beyond to help me with this replacement part. They got back to me right away and sent out the new part immediately. I am thoroughly happy with this company as much as I am with the machine. Absolutely recommend 100%! Great product, wonderful customer service!

Easy to assemble and store. It functions as described in marketing material. Everything worked as described first time.
