I LOVE my new Claiks Electric Standing Desk!
What a great (and Attractive!) desk for a really reasonable price! I've had it in use now for 3 months and it still works and looks like brand new! When it first arrived I was a little intimidated (read "Scared Sh**less") by the weight and number of parts!I shouldn't have worried! The parts were all clearly labeled (including a few SPARE instances of some of the more important items) AND the needed tools (2 sizes of hex wrenches as I recall). As I recall, the only tools I added to the operation were a couple of phillips head screwdrivers - not for use as screwdrivers but rather to align screw holes more easily. A drift or other 6"-8" straight bar would work fine if you find it needed. The instructions were very clear and detailed - more so than I expected given the price! All required required mounting holes were ACCURATELY pre-drilled, making it easy to properly locate mounting brackets, leg parts, etc. Desk kit included wire routing clips as well. The electrical components seem high quality with a control panel conveniently mounted under the right side of the desk. Also I found it useful to lay the components on my bed for assembly at a convenient height thus making it easier to align things as the build proceeded. BTW - this also served as motivation to finish the job so I could get to sleep! The desk also includes some unexpected niceties like a hanger for headphones and a grippy cable organizer at the back of the desk.Electrical components have thus far been trouble free and easy to use, with a display showing the measured height of the desktop and not only up and down movement keys but also 3 numbered buttons which you can custom program by simply pressing and holding the key when the desk height is where you want it! I have mine set such that 1 = sitting height, 3= standing height and 2 = a mid point I use to open and close the sliding window (for free A/C!) behind the desk. The only things I have added to my installation that weren't included are furniture sliders under the (substantial!) rubber feet. In my case, the desk is sitting on carpeted surface and the plastic-bottomed furniture sliders (available on Amazon, of course) make it easy to move the desk away from the wall for vacuuming, wire routing, etc.Buy it! You'll love yours TOO!

Way more than I expected for this price.
I needed a standing desk for home and I was a little apprehensive about buying this one due to the low price. Most of the standing desks I was looking at were in the 300 to 500 dollar range. I was shocked with what I got.Unboxing:The package was much smaller than I had expected it to be and I was a bit worried for a moment but read on for the explanation of the box size. There were a few dents and dings on the box that came from shipping and handling. I was certain that those dents and dings would also be on the contents. I opened the package to find thick white high quality foam. Not cheap styrofoam but the high quality type often used for packing computers and other high end electronics. There was a pocket for each item to keep things from crashing around in the box and hitting one another. Each part was individually wrapped in plastic. The desktop came in two pieces separated lengthwise and uses six dowels to join it together. The desktop looked in the pictures like some sort of distressed or antique wood so I was not sure what to expect when I received it but it is just a high quality printed veneer and I am perfectly happy with it. The dowels slipped right in and did not need to be hammered. The top is then held together by the various mounts and brackets that go underneath. I like the two piece desktop as it is the reason the box is so small. After assembly I found four heavy duty rubber corner pieces and actually spent a few minutes trying to find where they go before realizing that they were actually corner protectors for the desk top.Assembly: Total parts count was fairly low and the diagrams in the instructions were perfectly clear. I actually did not pay attention to any of the actual words as the diagrams left nothing to be questioned. The required tools were included however if you spent the money on the desk I recommend just a few dollars more to buy any cheap electric screwdriver as it is a huge time saver. There were no parts that seemed fiddly or places where I thought I needed a helper. The instructions showed to flip the desk upside down to screw on the desktop but a trick I found helpful was to temporarily power up the control panel and raise the desk to it's maximum height. Then place the desktop on and just sit underneath to screw things together.Function:As mentioned before I did not bother with anything other than the assembly diagrams. Even the control panel was very self explanatory. Setting the presets is just like in a stereo, you just press and hold to store that height. The desk does move very quickly but it is fast enough to be used regularly throughout the day. The motor is fairly quiet and the desk moves smoothly with no grinding sounds. The top is a tad thin so there is some flex to it when my arms are resting on it but I do have fairly large arms. Conclusion:Far more value for the money than expected. I would buy other products made by this company based on the quality. Assembly is fast and easy and package is fairly small albeit a bit heavy. It seems to work well and I have found nothing deceptive with the way that this desk was advertised. I did just finish the setup so I will update this in the future if I have issues. I am good about updating reviews if a product fails after the fact so if you don't see an update then everything is still as described.

Essentially perfect.
Assembly was easy enough, materials are very sturdy, I tend to lean forward when standing at the desk and it can very easily support my upper body weight. Height adjustment is simple as it needs to be with 2 buttons, the 3 other buttons for set heights are also great, though i wish there was some way to edit the heights for each button, though this is definitely to much to ask for when the simple design does the job well enough.Well worth the price. 5 stars from me.

Desk Pros and Cons - But Top Notch Customer Service!
Packaged securely and arrived on time and in great condition. Assembly was overall an ok process, instructions were clear. First disappointing part was the desk top comes in two pieces. No matter how well you attach them, there is sadly a clear ridge line which catches everything. The motor functions perfectly and is quiet. I did lose quite a bit of leg room going from a same size regular table with four legs at the corners, versus this one with 2 posts inset ~6 inches. But to that I can adjust. The single issue that I sadly cannot work around is the stability of the table top itself. The desk as a whole is solid. However, no matter the height, if I dare to put an arm on the edge of the desk, the desk top tilts over slightly. Not enough to have devices fall over, but enough to startle me that they could every time.Updated: While the packaging, instructions for assembly, and delivery were great, the desk ultimately did not work for my needs. The company’s customer service went above and beyond to resolve my issue. What a refreshingly top-notch experience! Hat’s off!
