It Works!
Had a problem with raccoons on my deck at night, leaving little "packages" for me. No more! The sound is loud and scary even for me!

THIS IS A TOY!!!!
This has nothing to do with security - it is at best a toy.If you need to keep something safe - DO NOT BUY IT!We tried it in our backyard - it only goes off within about 20ft. Then walking slowly by it, it didn't go off at all. It's worth about $8-9 not a cent more.

See's to far
They work great, however I have them set on my deck about 20' from my road and every time a vehicle drives by it goes off. I had to turn it to the night mode as to not annoying my husband, he wants me to take them down. I have problems with Cats coming in my yard and on my Deck, where they pee on my house. They also come a chase/kill wild rabbits that are in my back yard, so this was my humanin way of keeping them from entering. Which there was a way to limit distant or not see vehicles.

Sensitive, effective, care-free self-charging
I fully charged this alarm, per the instruction leaflet, for two hours before attempting to test it. The instructions warn about overcharging, and specify the charging time on external power: < 2h (less than two hours). So, it looks like this device is lacking some battery charging protections. Anyway, after an initial full charge via de USB cord, the solar panel on top keeps it going. All functions work as documented on the product page and in the instruction leaflet. The sensor is very sensitive, and provides all-around coverage, indeed. I’d say it is more sensitive than I’d like it to be, and there is no control to adjust the sensitivity. The alarm has several sounds to select from, built-in, and you can also record your own alarm message. From the built-in sounds, barking works great for keeping dogs and such out from the lawn, and the vulture call will scare birds. Other sounds are more Halloween-worthy. I was thinking it would be nice to be able to switch the sound automatically from day hours to some other alarm sound over the night, when the neighborhood is silent and sounds carry further. The unit does not provide for such. The remote works, but it is designed after some old James Bond movies. It has 4 buttons labeled “A”, “B”, “C”, “D”. The manual describes what each button does, though. So keeping the manual handy is a must. But the manual is really short, strictly needed instructions for the main functionality. There is no info about the type of battery in the remote or how to change it, for example. In summary, a reliable clean lawn cleanliness reinforcer, or veggie garden defender, also a great Halloween treat-saving device.

Loud and scary for the birds
This is the best Burt the Tarant that I have found so far. I use the Eagle sound and I also recorded the Hawk sound to scare the birds away. The unit comes with 360 motion sensors but they don't pick up that far. A huge selling point for me was the remote control where I was able to turn the unit on anytime birds were waking me up in the morning and getting me upset. The bird problem was so bad where I couldn't keep my patio door open because the birds were so loud. This device fixed all my bird issues. Unit comes preloaded with many other sounds. You can record a siren and have it as an alarm if you have a big property. 360 motion is great for that. It also has preloaded dog sounds to scare off predators. Units is very loud and it comes with a spike for the ground and a hanger for the tree or a wall. Unit is onloud that when you use it at home, it gets everybody annoyed. Lol. You can change the sounds with the remote control as well. There are 4 control buttons on the remote. Great item to have. One thing I don't need is the red light blinking. I couldn't figure it out how to shut it off.

Loud
It makes a lot of noise and seems to keep all of the deer and bunnies away, but the birds still land on top of it.

Interesting motion detector that offers multiple alarm features, including personal recordings
When I decided to order this portable, battery-powered motion detector device by brand LAFEINA, I admit it was for a rather unorthodox purpose. I planned to use it, and have now tested it for use during airsoft and paintball games. And while it's purpose it probably for more mundane detection scenarios, I find that it also works for my purpose in an excellent way also.I plant this anywhere around our home encampment, and set a message declaring enemies have entered our territory in a shrill voice and an alarm to follow. It's an excellent way to keep our team on our toes during defensives. The recording device and the speaker system is more than adequate enough for this purpose and it also doubles as a great alarm at night when we are camping out during an airsoft weekend, planning for our next excursion in the morning. Sometimes we leave our things unattended during games we all want to play in, so it doesn't hurt to scare the bejeebers out of potential incoming gear thieves, though that's never actually happened to us before.Whatever the case, I could see this device being used in a camping scenario to help scare away potential animal threats, or on a farm in the form of an audible scarecrow. It works well, and is a durable enough piece of equipment that I feel comfortable leaving it securely on location even if the weather is poor.I have enjoyed my experience with this device and I do recommend it for any of the scenarios I've described, even if the former is rather unorthodox. 4 stars.
