Reliable Solar Kit for Small Battery Maintenance
This 20W 12V solar panel kit is a solid choice for keeping batteries topped off on things like RVs, boats, and motorcycles. It’s easy to install, and the adjustable mount bracket makes it simple to get the best angle for sunlight. The included charge controller is an upgrade over basic setups and gives you peace of mind that your battery won’t be overcharged. It’s also waterproof, so it holds up well in outdoor conditions. For anyone looking for a dependable trickle charger and maintainer, this kit does the job well without any hassle.

It works
Have had on my lithium batteries for a few days now says there charging but not completely charged yet. Guessing it's gonna take awhile to charge 3 12volt 12ah batteries. Have it wires to a 3000watt inverter to charge work batteries in my work trailer so no more running extension cords.

Good product and exceptional support!
This was my first (& second & third) Solar panel and definitely aided in my learning experience! The 30W panel with MPPT worked exactly as advertised. It trickle charged my LiFePO4 battery as expected, and the easy mount was great to work with! So why 4 stars?First, there are no specifications provided for the MPPT controller. Granted, support was amazing and sent me the full spec sheet but some of that information should be included here, up-front. Primarily, the description needs to include what the max solar load the MPPT controller can support (50W). This leads me to my second reason -- there is very little room to grow!If you're looking for that slow trickle charger with manual feedback, this is perfect! However, I found that, in real-world use, I needed 80-100W of solar power to do what I needed so this controller just wouldn't cut it for me (had to buy another unit instead).Overall, while knowing what I know now, I would have never purchased this FOR MY PROJECT. But it doesn't change the facts about this unit -- it is a good product with a great company backing it (I should know - I have 2x 30W panels and a 20W panel in use!).Summary:Pros:- Good build.- Long power cords with SAE connectors.- Lightweight, angled mounting hardware.- MPPT controller works as advertised.- Great for trickle-charging batteries [for long-term storage].- GREAT customer support!Cons:- No real room for growth.- Company doesn't sell JUST panels (must be in a kit).- Controller doesn't offer any remote monitoring.

Decent Little Solar Chargers
I picked up two of these and I am happy with their performance so far. Put one on the Harley to give the battery a trickle charge and it worked perfectly. I have also used it on the RV batteries when boon docking. It's not a big charge amperage, but every little bit helps when camping..!

Ideal for lawn tractor
Installed it on my shed to keep my lawn tractor battery charged. Works perfect and the leads are nice and long. Seems like the panel is good quality and sturdy. Pretty good value and is easy to use.

Great for charging 12v gate battery
I upgraded the undersized panel that charges the 12v marine battery that powers my gate. Probably the original panel would have been ok if I had all day full sun on it; but because I have a lot of morning shade I need a bigger panel. This one does the trick!

Good quailty
Worked well and recharged my Mini Excavator battery (which ended up being an issue with the starter fuse housing) in about 30 min.

Strike three, out to be returned
Initial review on unboxing. The cable polarity for the SAE cable from the solar panel does not meet standards. The positive from any power source(battery, solar panel, etc) is the socket to prevent accidental shorting out. They did it backwards from the solar panel, but reverse it again on the charge controller so it will work as a unit, but don't try to use another charge controller with the correct SAE polarity. Easy way to remember: The Bullet from the Battery(or any power source) is Black(negative). Users manual list only lead acid, agm and gel, Tech support confirmed LiFePO4 are supported like the Amazon listing says. LEDs do NOT behave as the confusing documentation says. Plugged only the solar panel in weak lighting and the red and blue lights stayed on after all three flashed momentarily, moved the solar panel out to bright light and the red light went out. Plugged in the battery. Red light came back on but not flashing as most charge controllers do. This is the same as the weak sunlight indication. Just to check, I plugged the battery in reverse polarity. Both red and blue lights remained lit and did not indicate reverse polarity by not lighting up. My LiFePo4 based power pack indicated it was fully charged but the green light never came on. Suspecting that LiFePO4 batteries are not supported. I plugged in a 9 amp-hour agm battery and left the panel in the Arizona sun all day. The green light never came on. I suspect this charge controller is not ready for prime time. I did purchase this heavily discounted, but even the 20W solar panel alone is not worth the price I paid.
